Our bright and spacious 2-room apartment is perfect for a small family or couple. There is a private bedroom and large living space with a reading corner that converts into a cozy second bedroom. In the mornings sunlight pours into the kitchen, and in the afternoon, into the living room. Located in charming Frederiksberg, minutes away from hip Nørrebro neighbourhood (Jaegersborggade, Assistens cemetry), with supermarkets, metro and parks minutes walking-distance. You will feel right at home.
Our cozy apartment has a private bedroom with a double bed, and hanging closet space and drawers which you be able to use, and entrance to a huge balcony! The living room is a large space that originally used to be 2 rooms. The larger part of the living space has a sofa and dining table, and the smaller area of the living room has a work desk and tatami mat reading corner.
The reading corner can convert into a very comfortable single bed. The mattress is made from organic coconut fibres, and is extremely good for the back. All of our friends who've visited and slept on this mattress have always slept so well! The tatami mats are very comfortable and give off a delightful herbal scent from the natural material they are made from.
The kitchen and bedroom side of the apartment gets wonderful morning light (but don't worry, the bedroom has blinds to keep the light out when you're sleeping). A very rare thing for Copenhagen apartments, but this side of the building looks into no other building! In the afternoons, light comes into the living room side of the apartment, which makes this home a constantly bright and airy space.
We have a typically "cozy Copenhagen" bathroom with a shower built in, where the toilet, sink and shower are all within arms reach (literally). It's a very convenient experience.
There is a communal back courtyard with tables, chairs, plants, toys and a sandbox which children can play in. Feel free to enjoy the backyard and take a cup of coffee out there in the morning, or enjoy lunch in the sun.
You are free to access the cupboards and closet in the kitchen and bedroom which will be marked with little post-it tags.

Другие важные подробности
There is no washer or dryer in the apartment. You can use a coin laundromat around the corner, a block away.
We love our home, and we expect our guests to treat our space with care and respect, as if it were their own. We have a few house rules:
- Please remember this is a space we usually live in, so be considerate of our things. You are welcome to browse through our books and have a read, but put them back when you're done (and no dog-earring pages).
- No pets.
- We prefer you take off your shoes in the house.
- No smoking in the house. You can use the back door to access the shared courtyard and smoke outside. But we are a no-smoking household.
- Remember we have neighbours and this is a family-friendly building, so keep any music/noise levels at a low after 10pm.
In the kitchen:
- Feel free to use utensils and pots and pans to cook, but clean up after yourself.
- Please only use the designated cupboards and fridge shelf-space to store your food.
- We don't cook meat at home, but you are free to. But please don't use the wooden chopping boards to prepare and cut your meat.
We would like to have guests that are open to watering our plants. We have a variety of beautiful plants and cacti, which we would love to have cared for in our absence.
I am a photographer and video artist from Hong Kong, living in Copenhagen since 2013. My partner, Juan, is a documentary filmmaker from Basque Country (Spain), and he has been in Denmark since 2011. Due to the nature of our work, we travel quite a bit for projects. We are kind and easygoing and love to travel and meet new people, and we will surely treat your home with care.
