I live downstairs when you are upstairs, so will be there if needed or wanted... but otherwise you will have the place to yourself. Please be mindful of shoes inside and heavy walking and loud talking late at night. It's an old house and sound downstairs can really magnify :)
If you do have children please be mindful of them screaming, running and making other noises that can disturb the peace for the neighbors.
We are a smoke free and shoe free home. Non-smoking guests only please! Smoking will result in the loss of deposit.
Please be mindful of noise and entertaining after 10pm. A noise complaint from our neighbors will result in loss of deposit and possible eviction.
FRONT DOOR is to remain closed and locked. Please be really attentive when you arrive, leave and receive guests.
BEDS, COUCHES and WOODEN SURFACES:
The linens and sofas are very sensitive to dark dyed jeans, red wine and kids with food. No liquids (hot or cold) on any wooden surfaces.
Small dinner parties are welcomed and encouraged. However, absolutely NO parties or large gatherings are permitted without prior consent from us. (Doing so will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.)
Please note that everything is dishwasher safe EXCEPT:
• Wooden utensils and bowls
• Global knives
• Cast iron pans and skillet
Please feel free to use any of the spices, condiments, oils, or dry goods in the kitchen. However, if you use something up, please replace it or let us know what needs to be replaced.
The following areas are not included in the rental and should be considered off-limits:
• Basement and lower unit
• Master bedroom mirrored drawer unit.
We understand that accidents happen, please notify us of any items that may have been lost or damaged during your stay.
KEEP IN TOUCH:
Please feel free to contact us day or night with any questions you might have while you are here.
The building owners live downstairs and are very friendly, chill and lovely, so even if I'm not around you will have help (and wine drinking partners...). they will also let me know if you have extra guests, party, or cause any noise complaints.
Before checking out, the house should be restored to the condition in which you found it; kitchen counters cleared, dishes should be put in dishwasher, trash should be taken out and put in appropriate bins, and used linens should be removed and placed on top of the washer.
Please just leave the place as you find it. Don't burn it down or steal anything. Don't be gross! The usual stuff. :)

I am a 43yr old creative who has dabbled in architecture, interior design, film production, acting, directing and writing, all while working as a model for the last 25+ years. I spend time between NYC, LA, Melbourne, Byron Bay and San Francisco, and as much time in Mexico as I possibly can.
I am passionate about design, travel, film, experiential stuff, adventures, people, textures, sunshine and beaches.
I'm well travelled. Born in NZ, raised in OZ, lived in Paris, Milan, Hamburg, Tokyo, Hong Kong, NYC, Miami, LA, Fiji, Sydney, Melbourne, London and The Bahamas. But I really only speak English.
I am a certified Yoga teacher and love to cook and host dinners.
Meeting people and collecting friends is what life is all about.
I love hosting and providing people with a loving, serene space from which to explore San Francisco and Byron Bay. I share my spaces with Willow and Rabbit (my two loves). We rent out our guest room, and we also rent the entire place and go traveling or stay elsewhere. All of these options are available only on Airbnb.
