Stanley is the perfect get-away-from-it-all retreat. This quirky and cottagy-feel home is ideally suited for a family holiday, intimate couple break or for a group of friends wanting to enjoy the night life of Brighton or a chill time away from it all. There are 2 spacious double bedrooms with double beds so can comfortably sleep 4 adults (or 1 couple with children) or for an additional £45 you can hire the single futon so bringing the total accommodation up to 5 people. Mothercare travel cot can be supplied which is suitable for babies up to 2 years. Small additional charge.
Although bijou, the sitting room has luxurious deep-leather comfortable seating, a large TV, and a stereo system with speaker extensions into the kitchen, which creates a great ambience when you are cooking dinner or enjoying an aperitif in the patio area. There is an original feature fireplace, which although not in use, adds character. There is a vintage pub table so guests can bring in extra kitchen chairs and enjoy dinner in front of the TV.
Small but character filled kitchen, with red and brown tiles and pretty accessories giving it that funky Brighton contemporary feel. It is fully equipped with everything for self catering. There is a small breakfast table suitable for 4 people and a washing machine and microwave.
The first bedroom overlooks the patio area at the back of the house. There is a large double bed, matching chest of drawers and bedside table, and lots of shelves and storage for your belongings. TV ariel in place but no TV provided - so bring your own and just plug in!
This is located at the front of the house overlooking the street. There is a large double bed, huge amount of hanging and storage space in the built-in wardrobes, and a glass desk next to the Wi Fi if you need to do some work whilst away. This room is easily big enough to have a cot so please speak to the landlord.
All bed linen supplied and 1 bath and 1 hand towel per guest.
Bathroom (ground floor)
There is sadly only space for one bathroom in Stanley so come prepared to share! It is however a good size, decorated with stunning tiles, has a fast flowing shower over the bath, with washbasin, toilet and bathroom cabinet and shelving for toiletries.
The doors from the kitchen open onto the small patio area which has a built-in seating area for 2, a small table for eating and 2 extra chairs. Extra chairs can be brought out if required. This is a little sun-trap and wonderful to enjoy outside eating or an aperitif in the evening. Clothes line also provided.

I respond quickly to enquiries and organise bookings swiftly and efficiently. I then send a booking contract, welcome pack and receipts for all payments. Throughout your stay I am contactable for any help or enquiries.
Please note that this site does not allow me to show all the rate variations. For example I have low, mid and high season rates and different rates for weekend only bookings. However, if you book for a 7 night stay it would be as follows:
Low season- Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb: £630 per week (£90 per night) Except over Christmas and New Year which are charged at High Season rates.
Mid season - March, April, May & Oct: £700 per week (£100 per night)
High season - June, July, Aug, Sept: £805 per week (£115 per night).

Although I am a new host to Airbnb, I have been running Stanley as a holiday home for several years. You can view reviews on the Trip Adviser site property - 180442. I have a mainly 5 star rating and wonderful comments from guests about how helpful I am!
There is a £300 security deposit required above given rate. Deductions will be made if there is any damage or breakages and guests are expected to leave property in a reasonably clean condition. Any extra cleaning required after departure will result in funds being taken from the deposit. Extra mid-stay cleans and linen changes can be organised. Stanley is a non-smoking house expect outside in the patio area. Please note that I have sucessfully had some wonderful guests with their dogs staying in Stanley so am happy to discuss.

My interests include listening to music, watching films, bike riding, yoga and pilates, and I am an avid reader. I have also travelled extensively and lived in Singapore as a child and have visited the US, Oz, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Canada etc and totally love France, and Italy and Spain. So overseas visitors are most welcome. With the Brighton holiday let a contract will be supplied and information pack supplied about the home and the local area with details of the housekeeping arrangements.
