This was one of the most unique apartments we have ever seen. Truly one of a kind and the pictures do not do it justice. A real work of art!
The location initially seems remote, being right on the main road, but very quickly you realize it is ideal. Literally 60 second walk to the main bus stop, which would take you in one direction to Positano, and in the other direction, to Amalfi and surrounding areas like Ravello. So super convenient.
Also, even closer than the bus stop, an incredible hotel and restaurant that leads down many steps to a secluded beach area at the base of gorgeous cliffs, and then onto more places to eat beach side.
So again, location perfect. Again, stay in Praiano because it is super close to BOTH Positano and Amalfi, which are MUST visit areas, and likely it is cheaper and less crowded too.
Our hosts were unbelievably accommodating. They kept in touch every step of the way until we were at their doorstep, even stopping the bus we were on to make sure we got off!
Great complimentary breakfast of beautiful fruits, breads, cheeses and coffee was a nice touch. Spectacular view from our terrace. Private space, but surrounding apartments were nearby and within view from our terrace.
We stayed in the Michelangelo room, which included a kitchen and a private pool. However, I would recommend only if you knew absolutely you needed a kitchen, which we didn't. Also, we just assumed the pool would be more of a hot tub, so that was our ONLY disappointment. We rarely used it because it was not hot enough to make it comfortable for us. So you may save a bit by renting the adjoining apartments, like the Caravaggio, which we saw and was beautiful, the master bedroom opening up directly to the sea.
A bit of a problem with Wi-Fi cutting in and out, which was beyond their control, but frustrating. But overall, excellent stay, and I can't imagine any host going the extra steps the way they did. Highly recommended!
