This newly renovated Studio is attached to the rear of our large 3-story Mediterranean home. Furnished with a kitchen, bedroom/living room (with a pillow top Queen bed), bath/laundry, private deck, front porch with private entrance. The Studio can be rented with the main house (at Come Visit Us In Savannah), or separately, as it is completely private Studio Apt.
It's like coming to visit relatives...everything is here.
The local food is wonderful, and the city of Savannah is as beautiful as it is interesting.
Several cafe's, restaurants, and antique stores within 2--3 blocks.

The Studio has one Queen bed with Egyptian Cotton sheets. As for cooking, we have all of the appliances and comfort of home, in a fully furnished Kitchen.

DINE-IN KITCHEN: DW, Micro-hood, Range, REF, Garbage Disposal, Filtered Water, Lots of Cabinet Space, Tile Countertops. Great Lighting.
LIVING ROOM/BED ROOM: Ceiling Fan, Great Lighting, Patio Doors. Laminated Wood Floors Throughout.
BATHROOM/LAUNDRY: Tile Floors, Stand-up (Tile) Shower, Large Vanity with Full Extension Drawers, Super Capacity Commercial W/D. Built-in Fan, Heat Lamp.
FRONT PORCH PRIVATE ENTRANCE: Rear Deck Shared Entrance. On Street Parking. Security Cameras surround the home.
BACK DECK (Private): Large outdoor space approx 13' x 13', with a patio table and chairs. (Note: Hammock provided upon request.)
Apt. Approx: 500--600 sq ft.
We are about 20 minutes from Tybee Beaches, and 39 blocks from River St., Forsyth Park is 11 blocks (0.9 miles), and Kroger (the only chain grocery store downtown) is 8 blocks, and some of the better antique stores are within 2 blocks in either direction.
If you are going to take a tour, you can park at the Visitor's Center for free. While there, you can purchase a parking pass that allows parking throughout the city. Some of the parking garages downtown are FREE on weekends. Also, there is a free shuttle around town (the CAT shuttle--maps available).
This year Savannah is having "First Friday Fireworks" on River Street, and "First Saturday" on Broughton Street (check local calendar of events for the city).
Once you are booked, we will send you information on how to be a "local", and get the most from your visit. We will also send you a calendar of events, and other helpful information.
There is a Middle Eastern Deli, one block from the house. And one of the best restaurants (Elizabeth's On 37th) is only 2--3 blocks. The Cafe on 37th is 2 blocks. There is a new restaurant (the Green Truck) 1.5 blocks away that has just been voted as having the best hamburgers in Savannah. And Rosso's seafood is 2 blocks.
There is a front porch and a back deck with access to an outdoor grill.
It's like visiting relatives...everything is here, pots/pans, a full stocked pantry, spices, etc.
Calendar is not always correct. Check with owner for dates.
Respect the privacy & comfort of others, there are neighbors, and there may be other guests on premises (private entrance). No loud music, TV or internet noise. There is a noise ordinance in our Downtown area. No loud parties.
Please be considerate of conservation of electric and water while visiting. ((URL HIDDEN) wet towels on beds or furniture.)
A Well Behaved Dog Will Be Allowed. (Add another guest to your total for Pet Pricing.)

That, I will be held responsible for the care of this property being visited under my name. I accept full responsibility for damages by me, or any of my guests and for extra cleaning charges should they be discovered during or after departure. If anyone in my party smokes in the house, a “de-fumigation” fee can be charged to my card.

I am from SC. All American Drum Major in HS. John Phillips Sousa Award for excellence in music and leadership. Trained the University of South Carolina Drum Major's and the Drum Major for the 1996 Olympics in ATL.
Worked at USC in Public Relations--traveled with all the teams, Asst. Director of FCA. Started my own company while at USC (Kabuki: The Art of Mascot)--made and redesigned college and professional mascots (i.e USC's First National Champion 'COCKY'; SC State's 'Bully'; SMU's 'Seymore'; JSU's 'Gamecock'; Kelly Tire Company's 'Star'; Charlotte Knights International League Baseball's 'Homer the Dragon'.)
Worked as an ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreter in the SC School System. Worked in professional athletics (NBA Charlotte Hornets/Charlotte Knights International League Baseball) in Public Relations for several years. Became a national director for a company (NCA) in Dallas, TX and had a staff of 13 travelling the nation teaching my curriculum in Public Relations.
Started a turn-key Cabinet/design business (Quality Kitchens).
Fell in love with Savannah, and bought a house here. One step closer to my goal of retiring in Savannah, and opening a B & B.
