Our home is a large (1,200 sq ft) fourth/top floor, sunny, one bedroom apartment with hardwood floors. Four windows, north + south facing, exposed brick walls, a fully equipped kitchen, French doors to a separate bedroom. Shower and bath. High speed internet. Access to roof top patio with seating with views of the Manhattan Skyline looking south!
The apartment has a Queen bed (2 people) and a Queen lounge sofa bed (2 people) in a large, sunny apartment spanning entire floor of a Brownstone house. Hard wood floors, pre-war brick interior walls, street with two churches, great transport connection and community garden nearby. We'd just like to be transparent and say that because this building is a Brownstone and that it was renovated about a decade ago, it's not as modern as some apartments. But everything works, and we do keep the apartment as spotless as possible.
** Please confirm your 'check-in' and 'check-out' times with us before arriving - we'll try to be as flexible and accommodating as we can! **
Car parking on the street is free, but please beware that you may have to park down / up the street if a space is not available next to the apartment. Please also note twice weekly street sweeping schedules which are posted and different for each side of the street. It's ok to double park just before and during street sweeping. Be careful as the city makes a pile of cash from parking tickets if you don't move your car for sweeping. If you want to avoid this issue entirely, there is a parking garage on 124th St directly one block north of our apartment.
Security - two doors at entrance to the apartment block lead into a corridor with bike storage, with third door (to the apartment) on the second floor.
