This house has always made my spirit sing! Is it the spectacular views or the cosy kitchen? The Blue Room is a simple but comfy space on the first floor, a haven to return home to after a busy day exploring the city, the beaches or heritage centres.
The Blue Room is a simple, but clean and comfortable space in a spacious Victorian house built in the 1880's. It has a 5ft double bed, double wardrobe, bedside table, chest of drawers and chair.
It's a first floor room (i.e. up one level of stairs) - on the same level as the shared bathroom and living room.
Guests may enjoy panoramic views over Swansea Bay (Port Talbot to Mumbles) from the first floor living room.
The cosy kitchen with a farmhouse feel and lovely old style Rayburn cooker is the setting for a simple self-service breakfast of cereals, toast, fruit and tea/coffee (included) and the option to join the hosts for dinner (by pre-arrangement, for a donation to cover costs). Guests may use the microwave (or kettle) to heat a ready-meal (not-included!) They may order a take-away and sit and eat in the kitchen; however, they are not permitted to use the kitchen facilities to cook their own meals.
The Prayer Room (when not in use as a bedroom) may be used for reflection, meditation and prayer by guests.
The bathroom has a shower and bath. Please note there is only ONE bathroom in the house and this is a shared facility.
Общение с гостями
We're happy to give guests as much space as they desire or we can be available to chat in the evenings, making suggestions on places to go (the Gower is lovely to explore). The hosts are particularly interested in all aspects of resilience and well-being (especially eating well for health) and the spiritual heritage of Wales, land of revivals.

The wi-fi internet works well on the ground floor and first floor. Guests staying on the second floor (in the Prayer Room or Attic Bedroom) will get better internet reception by sitting in the living room or kitchen.
The House Rule is LOVE:- treat others as you would like others to treat you!
This includes being respectfully quiet between 10pm and 7am. We leave our shoes at the bottom of the stairs. Slippers are useful – do consider bringing some.
We agree to never be drunk (or high on other substances) in the house and not bring illegal substances / items onto the property.
