Newly refurbished in 2014. A beautiful Victorian terrace with period details, lots of space and a sunny garden. Only 5 minutes walk from Hove train station and the beach. A 25 minute walk along the seafront will take you to Brighton, the Pier, Brighton Eye and the winding Lanes.


The house is situated in the centre of stylish Hove and the fantastic cafes and shops that are on offer. There are two of the best gastro pubs in Brighton and Hove only 2 minutes away by foot.

We bought the house in April 2014 and since then have undertaken a total make over making it a wonderful and modern family home. Ideal for 7 people, there are 2 double rooms, one with an ensuite and a 4ft double/single on top bunk room.

The are really two master bedroom, a large open space ensuite bedroom on the top floor which is a loft conversion with a dorma to the rear and the room at the front of the house that has an original Victorian fireplace and a comfortable super king bed.

The third room is our daughter's room and has a triple bunk with a small double on the bottom and a single on the top to sleep three. The room is bright and airy with lots of floor space.

There is a smaller fourth bedroom which is our baby's nursery so not suitable for an extra bed but we would consider it being used for a baby or toddler on request.

Downstairs has a large open plan lounge with a huge sofa that can accommodate a number of people, a great area for socialising. There is a dining table with 6 chairs and you would have access to SKY, Netflix, and Apple TV.

The kitchen has been extended and completely refurbished at the start of 2016. The space is bright and has bifold doors that open the width of the kitchen onto a patio and grass garden. All mod cons, a central island, breakfast bar and sofa seating area make a wonderfully social space. We have also recently added a downstairs toilet under the stairs.

The entire house and garden. We will probably lock the 4th bedroom which is a babies nursery.

We will be there to welcome you on arrival, show you how everything works and let you know the best places to visit to suit your stay. After that it is over to you and your holiday in Hove. We would also leave a contact number and one of our neighbours would be on hand to help if you needed it.

The last and most important thing to mention is we have a cat. Her name is Roxy Jane and she is a much loved part of our family. A silver Persian, so people with allergies to cat fur might suffer. Roxy is very friendly, low maintenance and will spend most of her time in a quiet spot. We would appreciate cat lovers as she will need an occasional tickle and some food.

We respect our neighbours as we have a couple on one side and a family with a young child on the other.

No house parties and we respectfully ask you keep the noise down inside after 10pm and in the garden after 8pm.

Please no smoking inside the house.

Great location within walking distance to Hove train station. Emma was great at getting back to us before and during our stay with any questions we had. The house itself is a Modern conversion to a classic style terrace with good facilities. Make sure you are a cat lover as you may have to clean the litter tray several times to avoid bad smells and feed the cat during your stay.

Sorry about the litter tray and the bad smells. I've noticed on return that the plant in the kitchen was in front of the cat flap so I wander if she couldn't get out so it was made much worse. Hope it didn't affect your stay too much.

We had a lovely stay at Emma's house. Very homely and brilliant location. Also lots of space for 4 adults and 2 children. We'd be very happy to stay again!

Beautiful house in a great location with good transport links to Brighton. Although we didn't meet Emma she was very informative and quick to respond to any questions. We all had a great stay!

We had a great time in Emma's beautiful home. We loved the kitchen, the comfortable beds and the little backyard where we could sit outside. Short walk to shops and the beach. Very nice to get to know Rocky as well.
