BATH / SAUNA:
The bathroom includes a shower and a sauna bathtub. The bathtub is missing a plug-in to keep the water and is therefore never used. If you do end up using it, please be extremely careful and make sure to keep electronic appliances away.
There will be clean towels provided. You will find these on the bed in the room.
You will find the house key in an envelope, in the mailbox on the left side of the main house door. The key opens both door locks. Please close both locks when you are inside the house. Also, please use the key to close both door locks when leaving the house. NOTE: The main house door sometimes does not close all the way if it is not pushed/pulled properly. Please make sure to lock the door both when you are in the house and when you leave.
At the end of your visit, please put the key back in the envelope, and slide it in the door mail slot .
(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN):
The house is shared with 3 other people. They are Wan, Christian and Danielle.
Please feel free to use the kitchen. You can store items in the fridge in the middle shelf (which is my space). Please feel free to cook and use the plates, glasses etc. The food in the fridge and in the shelves is unfortunately not for use. However, feel free to use the salt on the kitchen counter. If you need space for food outside the fridge, please use a bowl or plate and put them in a corner of the kitchen so they don't take the space for others. Please make sure to clean all your used dishes after eating. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, however this is only used if you need to wash a lot of dishes at once and we do not use it very often.
One of my (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) has a cat. Her name is Smeagol. Please let me know if you have any cat allergies before your trip. Smeagol is very friendly and quiet. She will normally listen to orders and does not scratch. If you do not like her to enter the room, please make sure to close the door of the room.
The AC can be turned on/off manually on the ground floor/dining area. To access the switch, lift the cover and turn the switch left into "cool". Please turn the AC off when you are leaving the house. My room is on the top floor of an old townhouse, as is common with these houses, the top floor is warmer during the summer as the AC does not manage to push the cool air all the way to the top (this is what the maintenance person told me). There is a portable fan in the room to help circulate the air.
There is a washing machine and dryer inside the closet on the 1st floor. Unless it is absolutely required that you do laundry, please do not use the washing machine only for small / few items. If you end up using the dryer, please do not leave it on when leaving the house.
