On the northern peninsula of the beautiful island Fårö you will find our house in the sand dunes, just a glimpse away from the sea. It's a unique place, far away from the rush of the everyday life. A place to unwind and unplug.
This is where I grew up as a kid during the summers. A place unique and much loved. Now we have decided to shear it with you. It's actually two houses. You are welcome to rent the small house which is the newest one. There is only one neighbor, then there are no one, just the sea and sand dunes. The reason why the area is not more exploited is due to the nature reserve close by. So there would not be any part of the modern society reaching you if you want to be undisturbed. The house is fairly simple with two separate bedrooms. One with a kingsize bed and the other with three beds, normally housing the kids. A small bathroom with a shower and than a big room for dining, living and cooking. In all about 50 square meters.
You have acces to the house and everything in it. There bigger house and the 2 shacks are not included in the rent. There are a few bikes and a barbecue.

Born in the northern part of Sweden and moved to Stockholm 1978 were I lived since. I attended school as any other kid and eventually turned my interest to natural science when growing older. I always been fascinated by the sea ever since my summers at a smal island i the Baltic sea, called Fårö. So I ended up as a reserv officer in the Swedish Navy. Then more by a change, since I rally enjoyed flying the helicopters in the navy, I ended up at the commercial pilot school in the southern part of Sweden and that's what later became my occupation. Now behind the wheel of a Boeing 737 flying for SAS. I found the love of my life just before hoisting anchor for a 6 month trip around the world. Ten years later we are married and this wonderful little boy named Isac is giving us the time of our life. I’m a typical swede in then sense of engaging in non-profit associations. I’m involved in quite a few organisations, mostly connected to the sea somehow.
I love Stockholm. It such a great feeling coming home from work, feeling, hearing, seeing this city on its islands. There have been a few jobb offers, that would have send me far away, but I am a home boy and most likely will stay that way. I welcome you to the Venice of the north and hope you will have an unforgettable stay at our shack on the rooftops.
