Staying at the Inn was one of the best things we did on our holidays. The house is beautiful, it’s history is preserved really Well and makes you feel like in a 19th century farmhouses of the south. In the morning you can sit in a rocking chair on the porch and have tea with the vastness of fields in front of you. The rooms Have ovens to heat, the beds are comfortable. Hanna and Omar are nice and welcoming, the breakfast is great and everything is very personal yet you have your privacy. It’s also just 15 minutes from the middle entrance of Shenandoah Nationalpark which is a fantastic place to go hiking.
We were welcomed right away upon arrival and given a tour of the house and a brief history lesson of the property and ownership. Everything was preserved beautifully, from the historical implements to the thick warm walls housing it all. The land around the property was beautiful and peacefully quiet as well. Only a short drive from Skyline and Harrisonburg this was the perfect jumping off point for hiking and adventuring and a welcome home base to return to in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to meet the other people staying in the house. Thank you!
