Wallpaper from the 40`ties.
4 meters from floor to sealing.
Old and romantic.
Balcony with flowers.
The private room consists of to big spacious rooms which can can be separated by a sliding door. Theres a balcony in the biggest room where you can see Festplassen (a big public open area by Lille Lungegården), Garage (Norways most well respected rock bar) and Legal (the hippest bar in Bergen) just beneath the balcony and you can even see Fløien (Bergens mosst viseted viewpoint and sight).
There is a queen size bed in the room, but a extra travel bed can be provided.
As you can see from the pictures, the appartment is not recently rennovated. I think it may be original wallpaper from 1940. At that time it must have been pretty high class. Now it is more shabby chic, with a lot of realness. All though it is old and shabby, it still is clean.
There is a bit of noise from the city life at night time, but it is more of a constant humming (except for the occasional over ecstatic drunk). But the two people who lives in the appartement are really quiet, and there is no noise from the upstair or downstair neighbours.
There is strictly no smoking in the appartement.
There is free Wifi in the rooms. Washing machine and dish washer is available in the kitchen. The kitchen is normally equipped (after Norwegian standard, which I do not know is good or bad ;) ) and is available for you to use as long as you maintain a tidy and clean atmosphere.
There will be clean sheets and towels available for you.
Общение с гостями
Most times I will be away on travels my self (thats why the appartement is available). If I am home I will be there for you and go through the rules for the stay. I will guide you the best way I know how, to ensure that you find the things you want to see and do in the city. I do have a very high degree of knowledge about the city which I have acquired through 35 years of living in the here. So in that first meeting I will be available for you, but in the rest of the stay I am not going to bother you (unless you need information about the appartement).

Другие важные подробности
I will collect one of the guests passports and keep it until departure.
If there is heavy rain for many days, there can be a leak from the ceiling in one of the rooms. The I usually just put a bucket underneath and think of it as a charming noise.
There is a toddler bed in one of the rooms (my sons).
The lamps in the room are antique and I am really fond of them, so please take care.
The old man upstairs is very ill tempered, so if you meet him in the stairs you have to greet him gently (and if he askes you anything, just say you are friends of mine :) )
You have to be tidy in the kitchen and bathroom areas.
No parties are allowed (the old man upstairs will explode, and he owns the bilding).
You can, by all means, drink alcohol, but do not get hammered on your stay in my airbnb appartement (if you want to get pissed you can do that on out on bars :) )
There is a recycling system for waste that I want you to use.
You are not allowed to use my mac.
I am 35 year old and grew up in Bergen, Norway.
I have been traveling the world as a backpacker many years ago and know the beauty of seeing new places and meeting new people and the cultures they represent. Now I mostly travel ecological reducing my footprint.
I want people that stay at my place to feel the the natural puls of the city, I`ll give my best advise if you want to, but I respect peoples need for finding their own way in the world.
Besides the traveling, I am a science teacher with phd in chemistry, I am part owner in a cafe and bar in Bergen, I like to write and do cultural stuff :)
