Santi was such a great host and the description of his listing was exactly what I was expecting. The location was easily accessible to regular food all the way to high end restaurants. Transportation is easily accessible though keep in mind, you are in the biggest city in the world so some walking to the Bus, Metro, or hailing a taxi may be required.
I had my own room, full sized bed, hot water for showers and even clean drinking water which is a must in China! I was able to buy my own food/drinks and bring it to the apartment which had a full kitchen available but being in Shanghai, food/drinks are so cheap that i found myself out most of the time.
Santi himself was a gracious host. Communication was easy and he would always throw out suggestions or tips since it was my first time in China. He was more than willing to help whether it were food recommendations or any cool hotspots from mainstream to the lesser known places in Shanghai. Ask him about the bar behind the Coke Machine! =)
I would not hesitate to stay at his place and have already told a few friends about my positive experience.
If there were any cons to say, I would have to say that I wish could have stayed longer!
