The apartment is incredibly spacious yet cozy with two bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and laundry, huge outdoor terrace, ALL to yourself! Because this is my home, you will find everything necessary to make your trip to Montreal a great stay - excellent shower, sound system, and I can also tell you where the free parking spots can be found.

I try to greet all my guests and ensure that they have all the info/recommendations they need to have a great stay! On occasion, I've been able to invite guests out to events, etc! I also have an Airbnb "house manual" I created for guests with tons of recommendations, info about the house, etc!
I live in one of the world's hippest neighbourhoods, a very friendly community where everyone walks and hangs out, you'll be steps away from many of the city's best restaurants, cafés, music venues, and shopping. This neighbourhood has a strong music and artist community, and plenty of really wonderful people to meet.
There is amazing public transportation in Montreal - my place is steps away from many wonderful resto's and attractions by foot, there are two major bus routes right at my corner literally outside of my front door, and we are five minutes away walking from a metro station, plus taxi's are so easy to get out front.
2 very comfortable bedrooms with 2 very comfortable beds (1 queen sized bed in master bedroom and a "cloud" of a double in the spare), a large, well-equipped kitchen, a huge terrace with BBQ, laundry machine, double-shower head with excellent water pressure, coffee/espresso!

I do have a housecat, Ginger, who stays at the house even if I'm away (my neighbours can feed her), and she likes to spend most of her time outdoors. She is very affectionate, LOVES the guests (as in, she'll be your new best friend), and loves belly rubs and chillin'.
My golden rule is to leave the place as you found it (this enables me to continue to provide affordable and clean accommodations, so please clean up after yourselves. Also be respectful of the place and my things- this is my home. As such, the place should never be used for anything other than for the approved guests to stay during their visit here, so absolutely NO filmshoots, photoshoots, parties, or other get-togethers without first receiving my permission! Please always remove outdoor shoes at the top of the stairs, do not wear shoes inside. Smoking is only permitted outside (I have a huge terrace where you can smoke). Thanks a lot for respecting my home!!

Hi, I'm Sheenah and welcome to the Mile End (the best kept secret of Montreal)! I love meeting new people, learning about new cultures and languages, and have a thirst to discover the world... when I travel, I always choose Airbnb, and as such, it only makes sense to host travellers in my home and provide them with a great experience! I am friendly, outgoing and well-traveled and want people to feel comfortable in my home. As a musician/restauranteur, I can also provide guests with recommendations about where the locals go to hang/eat/play. But there is never a shortage of things to do in Montreal in ALL seasons (winters are equally just as fun!).
I am in my 30's and I take pride in creating a comfortable and welcoming home for new friends and travellers- I'm a musician and tour around the world with a few different music groups, and have also been active in Montreal's culinary scene as I've managed/worked at some really awesome restos in the neighbourhood. In my past life, I was a manager in human resources for a gov't corp and ran a humanitarian aid program to connect Canadian youth with organizations in Africa. I have been living in Montreal for over 6 years - previous homes were in Toronto, New Mexico, Texas, Saskatchewan, and Hawaii, where my family current resides. I am bilingual in french and english, but a first-generation Canadian with parents who immigrated from China and Ireland.
