Stay in the heart of one of the nicest neighbourhoods in Copenhagen - Nørrebro is a vibrant mix of everything. The apartment has three large rooms and is suited both for families and friends. It is situated where people actually live.
We welcome groups of young people, but no throwing parties :)
The apartment is situated on the first floor and easily accesible. The apartment is very open and spacious. There is a big living room, with a comfy sofa. There are 2 sleeping room, one is quiet big with a double bed. The other room is a smaller children room, with a childrens bed, and toys.
Our kitchen is very big on Nørrebro standard, and we enjoy very much to make food and have all sorts of equipment, which you are welcome to use.
Our bathroom is quit small, but there is a very good spacious shower.
There is a big beed in the sleeping room.
In the smaller room there is a childrens bed, but we can move the small bed and put to very good mattresses in there. So two adults can sleep in there.
Then we have a very comfy sofa, which is also good to sleep on.
You will have access to the kitchen with a gas stove and everything else you need to cook.
I will also provide:
- Bed linen and towels
- Free WiFi
- Soap and toilet paper
- A guide to the area: Where to go, what to see and where to eat and drink
You will have the entire apartment to yourselves.
We have a fantastic garden where you can barbecue, sit outside and eat, while your children (if you have some) can play in the nice little playground.
The apartment is situated on Udbygade - a small, quiet, kinda hidden street in an area where things happen.
The neighbourhood is very vibrant and you will be close to many cafés, green areas such as Fælledparken and Assistens Kirkegård, many playgrounds for the children and good shopping opportunities. If you want to cook in the apartment, there are many supermarkets close by including a fish shop, a butcher, a bakery and a greengrocer.
If you need to wash your laundry, there is a launderette close by.
It takes 20 min. to walk to Nørreport Station, the main station of all traffic in Copenhagen. It is a nice walk through Nørrebro and across the lakes.
There also many busses you can take, fx 5A, 6A and 350S that will take you to Nørreport Station in 10 min. Also, you will be very close to Nørrebro Station and bus 8A.
If you want to rent a bike there is a bike shop very close by that rents out bikes for 80 DKK pr. day. I really recommed doing this - it is the best way to get around Copenhagen!
From the airport:
Take the metro to Nørreport Station (15-20 min). Here, take bus 5A and get off at Sjællandsgade (8-10 min). From here, walk down Sjællandsgade and across the church square, the second street on your left after the square is Udbygade (5-7 min).
From the Central Station:
Take bus 5A to Sjællandsgade and follow the previous description.
There is no free parking in the area, but you can park on the other site of Jagtvej farthest away from the city center - otherwise you will have to pay.
No smoking in the apartment!
Please no shoes inside the apartment.
And if you would like to use the garden, please respect our neighbors and the garden that we share with them. The house rules in the building say no noise in the garden after 21 o'clock, so please respect that. :)
We're an Icelandic-Danish couple, who are living together with our 3 year old daughter (and one more on the way) In Nørrebro. Birna is a nurse, and Christopher is producing Danish applecider. We love good food and good times with friends and family.
