Entire house with two bedrooms: one queen-sized bed and one double bed, near Alberta Arts district and Dekum Triangle. 2 bus lines (#8 & #75) go downtown, to OHSU, St Johns, & Reed College. Kitchen use, outdoor patio, WIFI. LGBT- & elder-friendly. Lots of parking on the street.
My small home is beautiful, clean and conveniently located. Walking distance to the Alberta Arts District and Dekum Triangle. The bedrooms have a comfy beds, with lots of closet space and chests for clothing. WIFI and laundry, and TV/DVD player, also. FYI, the house is not air-conditioned, but I provide fans (Portland cools way down at night), and I don't have pets or smoke.
The kitchen is small but well-equipped. You are welcome to use it for food preparation and storage. The private outdoor patio is a great place to relax and have a meal any time of day or evening.

Guests are expected to be respectful of my space and fairly quiet. Shoes off unless they're a necessity for comfort. Please don't park in front of the house next door to the east, as it's occupied by an elderly woman who needs to be able to get to transportation at the curb. No pets, smoking inside, or parties. The house is not child-proof, so please no kids under 6.

I'm a quiet but curious and well-traveled guy, with lots of long-term friendships from the various permutations of my life. I travel most winters to Asia, where I shop for my small textile import business. Art and creative endeavors have always been a big part of my life, both as an appreciator and a creator. I enjoy people who are adventurous enough to get off the beaten path, who take time to appreciate the details, and who realize they are not the center of the universe.
