Renovated house for a relaxing stay in the city center of Bruges.
It's located in a quiet residential area. (bakery, butcher, local bar and restaurant in the street)
A short 10 minutes walk brings you to the central market square.
You can use the living room (oak flooring) with flatscreen HD cable TV and a cosy terrace with table and chairs on the ground floor.
There's a well installed kitchen with four ceramic hobs, dishwasher, a double sink, coffee machine, build in oven, microwave and all cooking equipments. There is a large, shared refigerator and a small freezer.
I don't provide breakfast, but there is a bakery very nearby. Furthermore, there are plenty of sympathetic breakfast places in town. I'll be glad to point you in the right direction.
On the second floor is your luxurious bedroom with double kingsize bed, flatscreen HD cable TV, dvd player and a selection of movies.
You can use the voluminous bathroom with bath and shower, double sink, toilet, tumble dryer and washing machine.
Children younger than 3 are very welcome for free and will find a collection of toys.
Two baby beds are available in your room on request.
Free wifi is available in the house.
I'm an artist. My workshop is in the house. I work there at daytime. You are welcome to let me know if you need any reommendations about the city, restaurants, pubs, musea and events worthwhile visiting in the charming city of Bruges. I'll be glad to show you my artwork if you want to.
For guests coming by car:
Bruges is divided in 3 parking zones. The 'yellow' and 'red' zone are paid zones. City Center Stay - Ampersand is situated in the 'blue' zone. In this "blue zone" you must use the new European parking-disc between 9 AM and 7 PM and you can park for free up to 4 hours. There's a parking disk in the house you can use during your stay.
Or, by arrival I can explain where to park for free (at about 1 km from the house) and without limitation, just outside the city center.
For guests coming by public transport:
From the station, you take bus number 3 (direction Sint-Pieters) and you stop at 'Brugge Howest'. From there, it's 150m walking to the house.
