Hi there -
Please enjoy your stay in a newly renovated two-story row home in the heart of Washington, D.C. Our Victorian rowhouse was built in 1897, and has retained its original layout, with pocket doors, moldings, and heart-of-pine floors throughout the house. We gut renovated the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. We’ve put lots of love and thought into restoring our house. That said - it’s a 110 year old house, with lot’s of original details and features - so it won’t be a perfect, shiny new condo. We’ve recently been featured in Apartment Therapy: House Tour Jenia Sergeys Victorian Rowhouse.
We have a sweet patio out back, with french doors -- it's like a secret garden in the city. The common areas of the house - living, dining, half bath and kitchen - are located on the first floor.
There are three private bedrooms upstairs, along with a shared bathroom. We keep the master bedroom off limits to guests (although you are welcome to take a peek if you like). The other two guest bedrooms are for you to use with dressers for your clothes, fresh towels and real beds with a comforter and clean sheets (twin bed in the small bedroom, full bed in the middle bedroom).
Please note, we have an awesome cat, he is friendly but not clingy or scratchy. He is indoor / outdoor, and has his own magnetic cat door. He does his own thing for the most part. We have our neighbor stop by to re-fill his food and water several times a week, or you may do it yourself if you prefer.
•Strong wifi throughout the house.
•Free use of the washer & dryer on the lower level.
•Backyard / patio
Please feel free to use the shared spaces within the home – play a record or enjoy a book in the living room, hang out in the dining room, have a cup of coffee or glass of wine in the kitchen or outside on the patio. If you have laundry, help yourselves to our washer and dryer - it’s in the basement. You are welcome to use the kitchen as much as you like.
The only area we ask you do not use is our master bedroom.
Общение с гостями
We won't be on property, but you can easily get in touch with us via email or phone. We'll provide suggestions on where to eat/drink/do yoga in the neighborhood in our welcome email. Please feel free to ask us additional questions as they come up!
If any issues or emergencies come up, we have a house manager who is available to assist you on short notice.
