Hi there -
Please enjoy your stay in a newly renovated two-story row home in the heart of Washington, D.C. Our Victorian rowhouse was built in 1897, and has retained its original layout, with pocket doors, moldings, and heart-of-pine floors throughout the house. We gut renovated the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. We’ve put lots of love and thought into restoring our house. That said - it’s a 110 year old house, with lot’s of original details and features - so it won’t be a perfect, shiny new condo. We’ve recently been featured in Apartment Therapy: House Tour Jenia Sergeys Victorian Rowhouse.
We have a sweet patio out back, with french doors -- it's like a secret garden in the city. The common areas of the house - living, dining, half bath and kitchen - are located on the first floor.
There are three private bedrooms upstairs, along with a shared bathroom. For your privacy your bedroom has a keyed door. There is closet and a dresser for your clothes, fresh towels, and a full bed (not a queen) with a comforter and clean sheets.
We have an awesome cat, he is friendly but not clingy or scratchy. He does his own thing for the most part. There might be other AirBnB guests in the house, just FYI. All our guests are usually spectacular.
•Strong wifi throughout the house.
•Free use of the washer & dryer on the lower level.
Please feel free to use the shared spaces within the home – play a record or enjoy a book in the living room, hang out in the dining room, have a cup of coffee or glass of wine in the kitchen or outside on the patio. If you have laundry, help yourselves to our washer and dryer - it’s in the basement. You are welcome to use the kitchen as much as you like - although please do give us a heads up if you plan to cook a full meal.

We are pretty friendly and laid back. We split our time between DC and Baltimore, so we may not be home. Either way, we are quick to respond, and we'll get you oriented on all things DC either virtually or in person.
Другие важные подробности
Your reservation email from Airbnb will include check-in procedures, directions to the house, and other helpful information.
We might have guests arriving and departing on the same day - this means your room will be ready at 3 pm on your arrival day, and you will need to leave the room by 11 am on your departure day. If you are arriving or departing before/after these times, we try to be as flexible as possible. You are always welcome to leave the bags at the house in the living room.
Per Air BnB policy, your deposit is not collected upfront. You are only liable if there are damages. We have a lot of faith in the Air BnB community, and the primary purpose for the deposit is to replace keys to our house should you forget to return them. The charge for that is $50 (because it’s a pain to replace keys).
THE BIG STUFF:
•We are a shoe free home ***please take off your shoes.***
•Smoking: don’t smoke cigarettes inside.
•If you plan to cook a meal, just give us a heads up, so we can
give you some space.
•No guests besides those included in the reservation.
•Don’t close the basement door - the cat, Otto, uses it to go in
and out of the house. (He has a flap door in the basement).
