Facts are I greeted you at the property when you checked in, you excepted the keys and made no complaints to me. You did in fact stay at our house as you left melted ice-cream wrappers in bedroom, food on counters, ketchup on floors, coffee cups in the driveway, etc.
Our property description via all photos and listed information is 100% accurate and a clear representation of the home in all aspects. We pride ourselves in being great host (approching 3 years years hosting on Airbnb) with nothing but 5 star ratings from our guest, we will let the history of our reviews speak for themselves.
Fact is, you left stating you had family emergency needing to return home immediately to NJ. We offered a written notice to help you with any dates we could rent for you if you wanted us too. You refused and took all the house keys with you, and would not respond to our request to return them?
We then contacted airbnb to help facilitate the return of our keys and in doing so they discovered you were still in Florida (not returned to NJ on family emergency?) and you were planning to sublet our home to another person with out approval , which is in violation of airbnb policy and ours as well. Ultimately we had to change all the locks for the security of our home and future guest.
The situation was nothing less than ‘odd’ to say the least, and Thank God one of a kind…that said, in honor of our faith, we forgive you.
