The “Classic Coral Room” is one of three rooms available at “Vineyard Vista Country Getaway”. Part of the Skyline Drive on the Blue Ridge Mountain is visible from the north-facing window in this room. From the west-facing window Glen Manor winery, Buck Mountain and a wind-blown silo are part of the landscape.
Classic Coral Room is a spacious room with blackout and translucent shades. One closet is for clothing and the other has the TV with remote control. Two drawers are available for guests who want them. The queen-size Craftsman bed has one remote control. The bed can be positioned for lounging, raising feet, or head or both. For tired muscles, a gentle 30 minute massage, may be of help.
The "Coral" bedroom is one of two bedrooms up seven stairs from a living room in a house that is the home of the host. When both rooms are rented, guests will need to share the bathroom. Guests are welcome to make use of the kitchen if they agree to clean up after themselves. Kitchen utensils, pots, skillets, microwave, gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes, dish clothes and towels, coffee and tea maker are available. There is a den with a fireplace and sofas for guests who need to stretch out, or just read. The back porch has chairs and a table to just sit and watch the mountain and wildlife.

Effective July 1, 2017 the Warren County Board of Supervisors levied a transient occupancy tax for short term rentals in this county. Airbnb does not provide a way for guests to include taxes charged by rural areas in Virginia, USA. Local government requires hosts to collect this transient occupancy tax.
I regret any and all hard feelings collecting this tax may cause my guests. As I am not a business, I do not accept cards, but checks made out to Treasurer of Warren County or cash will be acceptable. Once again I apologize that this fee could not be included in the Airbnb invoice. Thank you, Petsy
Peafowls have roamed free here for over seventy years. You will want to watch where you walk. There are no ghosts here, but you might wonder about that if you hear them walking on the roof. To roost they launch from the roof to perch in trees. If something disturbs them you will hear them warn each other. Peafowls are just as fascinated to watch people as people are fascinated to watch peafowls.
No!! They do not bite. They are tame and you may get close, but you will not be able to touch them as they are very fast.
Please watch your step as you approach the house. The peafowls think they own the lawn and porches and cannot be "potty trained".
Please wipe your feet on the towel or mat when you enter or you may choose to take off your shoes. No smoking! No Drugs! Please consume food and beverages in the kitchen den, or on the deck.

Widowed mother of two daughters and grandmother of two grown grandsons. Retired grade school teacher. I couldn't live without my glasses, my car, dish washer, the vacuum cleaner or my LadyBug steam cleaner. I really enjoyed visits to Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Greece, England, Ireland, Scotland, Denmark and St.Petersburg in Russia. I have a yen to see the five states of the United States I have not yet visited. The Bible is without doubt my favorite book. Other than that I enjoy light escape reading and I must admit to loving science fiction. I attend the local Summer Musical Theater and Sight and Sound in Pennsylvania. Food is wonderful! I love it all. I can watch TV when there is someone around willing to catch me up when I take catnaps.
I love to listen to people's stories. I make no attempt to be politically correct, I always have an opinion if anyone is interested, and I am truly not offended when someone disagrees and defends an opposing view.
