This cottage is a hidden retreat near downtown Salt Lake. A large flower and vegetable garden dominate the shared yard and create privacy for the cottage and its deck. This space is ideal for those visiting the area, seeing family and friends, attending meetings/conferences, hiking, and skiing. Have breakfast on the patio, cook in the gourmet kitchen, or go to one of the many restaurants, breweries, or coffee houses in the neighborhood.
We have a small house in the center of Salt Lake City. There is a single bedroom with a memory foam queen bed and a living room with a leather couch that can accommodate one person. There is also a large flat screen TV (not pictured).
The kitchen has a double oven and gas stove, along with a washer/dryer, and dishwasher. There is a covered patio area and garden where you can sit and relax.
The air conditioning consists of two small window units one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom, along with a box fan to help circulate air.
It is conveniently located near public transit, both bus and Trax.
Liberty Park is nearby and is a wonderful place to walk and relax. There is also a dog park within a few blocks. There are a few restaurants, breweries, and coffee houses nearby that we can recommend.
There is secure parking in the back of the house and both the shared front yard and backyard are fenced in case you bring your furry friend.
Guests have access to all the house's amenities, including the patio and garden in front. There is wifi. The tv has over the air broadcast (sorry, no cable), a dvd player, and an HDMI cable.
Общение с гостями
Most likely you will only see us briefly, if at all. We travel quite a bit, but love to make our house available for your travels. We are normally available by phone (text or call). If we are not available, we have a neighbor to help out and answer any questions or issues that may arise.
Другие важные подробности
Please note we do share the yard with the duplex on the front half of the property. The tenants upfront have a cat. Well-behaved, house broken dogs are welcome. We do not allow cats (allergies). Our house is not suitable for toddlers. We also prefer a minimum of two nights, but accommodations can be made under the right circumstances.
Please treat our house as though it is your mom's. Be respectful. Be neat, tidy, and have fun. Also the entire property is non-smoking (not my rule, the landlord's). Please be respectful of the people who live in the house at the front of the property - we share a yard, so be considerate. No cats but well-behaved dogs considered.
Like most humans, we have many interests, from camping to beer to cheese. We are outdoorsy and you can usually find us in the wilderness in our time off. We recently moved to Salt Lake from Montana and like to roam around in the desert and mountains. We like to learn about other people and about food and culture.
As guests, we try to be respectful and tidy and expect the same from guests. We tend to use a combination of surfing, camping, and bnb's when traveling. We have enjoyed our stays at other airbnb places and have really enjoyed it.
