My apartment rental is located near Georgetown, a historic Washington DC district known for good food and luxury shopping. A 5 min drive or a 15 min walk to Georgetown University, guests prefer my place for it's quiet vibes. Public transportation and taxi services are easily accessible and parking for rental cars is available.
This spacious one bedroom apt has a queen bed and queen pullout sleeper sofa to accommodate 4 guests. A newly renovated kitchen includes pots and pans if you like to cook, a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. This apartment also has a piano. Please be courteous to my neighbors late at night. The bright and sunny living room includes a large flat screen TV, sofa, and table behind the couch to sit and eat. The cozy bedroom has blackout curtains to partially hide the light in the early morning for those that like to sleep in and plenty of room for suitcases. The apartment is cooled by a good old fashioned window AC unit in the living room and a fan in the bedroom.
Street parking in available for one car in the lot or on the street with my parking pass. Public transportation is literally at the front door with a metrobus stop outside that takes you to Georgetown and Dupont for less than $2 a ride. Wait times for Lyft and Uber are also very short. Guests have access to the entire 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apt with full kitchen.

I typically rent my place out when I go on vacation. I'll let you know if I'm in the area or travelling when I send you my welcome note. Entry is granted through the call box out front. As a backup, a set of keys is also left at the deli next door, hence the 7pm arrival rule, as that is when they close.

I love traveling, meeting new people, and exploring new places! I'm outgoing, caring, and clean. Living like a local really gives you the flavor of the cities you're exploring, that's what makes Airbnb great. When I'm at home, I love going out to new restaurants and bars, and keeping my eye out for cool local events.
