Close to site-seeing attractions, great public transport links (trams, buses, night buses and a taxi rank within walking distance) and also within short walking distance from shops, restaurants, and tourist sites (Anne Frank House, Westerkerk, Jordaan, Leidseplein).
Main features: comfortable apartment, conveniently located.
The apartment is located on a bustling street, with many amenities close by. Downstairs is a night shop/delicatessen that has anything your heart may desire, there are restaurants across the street and 3 large grocery stores a couple of minutes walk.
The building has a typical Amsterdam steep staircase, and the apartment is located on the third floor, this is the top floor of the building. The apartment has a decent sized bedroom, with a double bed and a new mattress. From the main hallway there is a door to the bedroom, and there is also a sliding door between the bedroom and the livingroom. There is also sufficient wardrobe space in case you need it.
The living room features a new sofa bed which comfortably sleeps two people. There are books if you enjoy reading. There is currently no internet & television connection. But plenty of cafe's in the neighbourhood with free wifi.
The kitchen has an oven, microwave, electric water boiler, and all the pots and pans, crockery and cuttlery you may need to cook at home. There is also a hairdryer, washing machine, an iron and an ironing board in the apartment, all for your convenience. The bathroom is petite, and has a shower, toilet and sink. Bedding and towels are of course provided.
We're temporarily staying elsewhere in the neighbourhood, but we are nearby enough in case you have any questions or things you need help with.
There is an open staircase in the apartment, so please be aware that this may not be a safe option for small children as there's no gate in front of it.
Please note that this is a residence, so its very important that you respect our friendly neighbours by being considerate and keeping the noise-level within reasonable limits.

I'm half Dutch, half English, I lived in Switzerland and the USA and I now live in Amsterdam which is a place I really enjoy, there's plenty to do no matter where your interests lie. I love to travel and I've used airbnb as a place to stay, and I think its a great idea to be in a 'home away from home' when your travelling to another city. We also rent out our apartment in Amsterdam, but I'm always nearby so visiting guests can easily contact me if they have questions.
