This extra spacious home is spread out over three floors of a period, high-street property and offers an amazing 275 square meters of living space. Enjoy the calm and pleasing tones of this comfortable home - the perfect place to rest and recharge after a busy day in London.

The living room is on the first floor and offers sofa and armchairs, dining table and chairs for six, TV and Wifi.

There are three light and bright bedrooms all with comfortable beds, attractive honey coloured floor boards and built in storage. The master offers a king sized bed. Quality linen, newly laundered and pressed, is provided for each stay.

A chic and modern open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with all machines including, ceramic hob, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

There are two contemporary bathrooms - one with tub and the other with a walk in shower. Both bathrooms have a WC and basins. A separate washer and a dryer are located in the bathroom. Starter toiletries and fluffy white towels are provided as standard.

A small rear patio offers table and seating for four plus a BBQ. This is a quiet space to pause, rest and reflect between London adventures.

- Waterloo Underground and mainline Station - Jubillee, Northern, Bakerloo, Waterloo and City line - five minutes walk away.
- Southwark Underground - Jubilee line - three minutes walk away.
- Lambeth North - Bakerloo Line - 5 minute walk away.

Live like a local on the south bank. Avoid tripping over tourists and stay with the rest of us who actually live here. You are walking distance to the most iconic of London sites – yes, Big Ben, Westminster and the London Eye are down the road. Enjoy the convenience of small shops, banks, pubs, restaurants and the renowned Borough Market, all of which are a walk away. St Thomas' Hospital, the Young and Old Vic Theatres are also a short stroll. Blend in and enjoy the high culture of the South Bank Centre and the night life of the Ministry of Sound. The total displayed includes utilities, exit cleaning and WiFi.

Airbnb takes a security deposit for us. We will charge £100.00 if we detect cigarette smoke in the home after your departure, and £200.00 if all keys are not returned. There are no extra charges unless the property is left very dirty or damaged.

Standard arrival time is: 14.00
If we do not have people leaving the day that you arrive it may be possible to move in before 14.00, but we can no guarantee this. We will not be able to confirm an early arrival until the day before you are due to arrive. If you need to guarantee early entry to the home please book the night before.

Standard departure time is 10.00
If you would like to stay at the flat after 10.00 then please add the day of departure to your booking. If the property is not vacated by 10.00, an extra night will be charged.

We do not offer luggage storage, this is a private residential building. There are luggage storage facilities at major train stations in London. After you book we will send you a list of options.

No smoking, no pets, no people who are not on the original booking and no parties please.

A request to reduce the length of your stay will be regarded as a cancellation.

We are required by immigration law to obtain proof of ID for all people who will stay at the flat, and we collect these before you arrive. Lead guest must be 21 years or older.

The host claimed I broke the latch from the lint catcher from the tumble dryer (I barely remember to clean the lint catcher at home, so I am sure I did not try to do this with someone else's dryer after 1 use), which apparently costs 150 GBP to fix... Claimed it through the claim section of the website (I don't get notifications for this like I do for direct messages), after I didn't reply (as I honestly had no knowledge of this claim), got Airbnb involved. A simple message of "Hey look, I filed a claim against you, why aren't you responding" would have sufficed. Totally ruined whole experience for me, although the flat is nice and well-located.

Hello Gurgem, We were similarly disappointed to find the tumble dryer latch broken and then to receive no response when we asked for funds to repair it. Although you, yourself may not have broken it, somebody in your group did because it was lying on the counter with the flat open when we arrived after your departure. Although £150 sounds like a large sum it has not been inflated by us. If you call Bosch they will tell you it is £99 for an engineer to come and repair a machine plus any parts needed are charged on top of that. They will also tell you that they can not state exactly how much the repair will be until they are on site and we did inform you in our request that ultimately the sum may be lower than the amount requested.

This apartment could not be better located for anyone wanting to explore London with ease. Even as a family of five with three young children, we were able to walk just about everywhere - Westminster, the West End, Borough, Tower Bridge and the city. It's also very close to Waterloo and not far from London Bridge, both connection points for day trips outside London. A small supermarket across the road means it's hugely convenient for grabbing anything you need last minute and it's surrounded by great places to eat and drink. The apartment itself is spread across four floors (five if you include the ground floor entry) and the stairs connecting them are narrow and relatively steep. This wasn't a huge problem for us, but could be an issue for people with limited mobility or very young children. It's probably also worth mentioning the apartment is very warm (even in Autumn!) and I imagine it could get very uncomfortable in the summer. You can open windows to ventilate, but the area is quite lively so you won't want to leave them open at night if noise worries you. That all said, it is fit-out to a high standard with terrific bathrooms (great shower heads!) kitchen and laundry facilities. Beds are very comfortable and the linen provided is of the highest quality. Last, but not least, communication with the reps at the London Agent was straightforward and our check-in easy. All-in-all, this apartment suited our needs perfectly and we would recommend it without hesitation to any family looking for a well-equipped and well-located base from which to explore central London.

Read the reviews closely. I did and was not surprised during our stay, but my family members that did not read the reviews were not prepared for the stairs and noise. We experienced warm temperatures and needed to have the windows open; the fans were critical to drown out the outside noise and provide a breeze. With that said, the flat had everything we needed and the multiple levels provided a sense of privacy between the generations. The bedding was super comfortable. The location was perfect for restaurants / take away locations, the underground, and a few sites.

Great place in a fantastic location. About 5 minute walk to either Waterloo or Southwark tube stations. Place was very clean and spacious, only issue was the amount of stairs but we soon got used to them There were no issues in finding the place or letting ourselves in. We did not see the host at all but they were easily accessible if needed. We did find the street to be quite noisy throughout the night with many restaurants open until early hours of the morning, trucks and regular police sirens but that's all to be expected in such a central location! (The London eye can be seen from the back door!) Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was great! It was ready as soon as we arrive, extremely clean and polished, everything was as expected. The location great, walking distance (300 mts) from metro station, close to restaurants, entertainment, however, it the was really quiet and confortable. Definitely my option for a next time in London!

Thanks for being a great host. The flat was nice and close to the tube station. There are many places to eat and buy drinks/snacks right outside the door. You can see part of the London eye from the outside patio. I liked the towel heaters in the bathrooms, since it's great to have a heated towel after taking a shower.

Good host with clear instruction given on check in and check out. The place is near to the underground station so we can reach there by lots of London attractions and it can fits 6 people perfectly. Well done and Good job
