Casakiwi is a lovely little renovated farmhouse with a spacious downstairs living room with open kitchen. It has a large covered terrace with a magnificent view. Here you will enjoy absolute peace and tranquility. The house is completely private and solely for your use.
Upstairs are two bedrooms with balconies, a small bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet and a sink. One bedroom has a double bed and the other 2 singles. A baby cot is available.
In the garden you'll find a refreshing pool (4x7m). There are no pictures of the pool yet, since it will be build early April, so it will be brand new!
The house has electricity, a gas stove, hot and cold running water suitable for drinking. A washing machine is present so you’ll only have to bring towels.
You can visit the enormous arched Roman style bridge that was used by the railway. Below this bridge the bakery still bakes bread in a traditional wood oven. Behind the bridge lies the small San Cataldo valley which is the home and work place of a traditional shepherds family. Every morning and evening you’ll hear the ringing of the sheep bells when they leave or return home.
There are only three houses inbetween the bakery and the shepherd’s house, one of which is Casakiwi. It’s lovely to go for a walk in the surrounding hills or take the 5 min stroll to the Alcantara, the famous river that offers sparkling cold water in summer. The sea is only 15 minutes away by car.
Casakiwi is a few minutes’ walk from Casalina, and thus ideally suited for family or friends who like to go on vacation together but still want to have their privacy.
