We have been picked up at the airport by our host Erich, and we were happy he waited for us after the long immigration process. The house is really on the countryside, so you get a good insight in the living outside the city centre. So be aware you need a 15min tuktuk ride over dirty roads until you reach a shop or a restaurant. We had dinner with Erich every evening, surprise cambodian dishes, really good and tasty, and you don't have to think what you want to eat. For us adults it was fantastic, our children (3 and 6) liked at least the rice ;-). Erich helped us with everything we needed, organised bustickets, called the tuktuk-driver and answered all our questions about tempels, culture and living in Cambodia.
It was nice sitting in the big palmleaf-roofed living room, chatting and planing the next day while our kids played with the kids from the neighbourhood.
