Elena's home was a great place to spend our time in CA. The house is perched amongst a host of beautiful gardens filled with succulents and shady patios - the pictures do not do it justice. The house is well furnished and painted with a great kitchen and iPhone ready sound system in the living room. We spent the mornings on the patio drinking coffee and the evenings drinking wine. Highly recommended!
Elena is a great host. The house is very comforable, specially the kitchen. The garden is just wonderful with a lemon tree where one can get delicious lemons. Elena has welcomed us at the house which was clean and well prepared for us. We have visited a food show in Anaheim and the location is perfect, just 20 minutes to there. Shopping and restaurants down town are about 5 min. driving. All in one very recommendable.
Elena is a terrific host, and the house really is charming. Our experience was seamless; Elena was clear, friendly, and helpful in communication throughout our stay. The house itself is very comfortable and just as listed. The photos really don't do it justice. There are even views from the front of the house. The garden is beautiful, and would be a perfect place for family dinners. The kitchen is excellent, the living room is very lovely, and the bedrooms are comfortable. The house was clean, neat, and full of character without being 'in your face'. A perfect combination for our stay. The location is very residential, but 15 minutes from that mouse place in Anaheim and right around the corner from St. Jude's Medical Center. Shopping, restaurants, and downtown Fullerton are a short 2-5 minute drive.
Our experience was delightful. The house was charming with some delightful features. The professional Viking stove was a surprise. The absence of a television was problematic at first but in the end it was great to be disconnected. The highlight for us was the back yard where we hosted a dinner party for our daughter and two fellow graduates and their families. The outside environment made the evening very pleasant. We left the place spotless and fresh. We would recommend that Elena indicate that it is not particularly child friendly. The oven fixtures are easily reached by a toddler and at one point we discovered that the oven had been turned up from 350 to 500 degrees. We managed to salvage dinner. The Driveway is steep and not the greatest for a vehicles undercarriage. If we had known about a parking permit requirement for street parking we would have gotten one. Also, a guest book would be nice and a binder giving some details about the property and possible things to do and places to dine would be beneficial. All in all it was wonderful.
This home really was charming. Elana met me at the house, which was well stocked and prepared for our stay and I felt very welcomed. My husband and I were there on business and weren't sure what to expect of Fullerton. We were pleasantly surprised by Elana's home and neighborhood. It was the perfect retreat after long days working at Fullerton College with plenty of shady and sunny spots in the yard for relaxing, comfortable beds and an impressive Viking range for cooking. We have already recommended this home to the administration at Fullerton College for the various visitors that they host.
