This unit was entirely repainted and refurnished in January 2015. It's located right in the middle of the bustling Mt. Vernon Sq. It's perfect for a couple's escape or for a professional working or attending the DC convention center located 2 blocks away.
It's furnished with a tv, a full size bed, a desk, drawers. It's also located upstairs, removed well away from the busy street and foot traffic of people walking by the apartment.
On the good weather days, you can lounge out in the front and backyard with chairs, which is perfect for those warm summer nights to relax. And did I mention that you have good wifi all in and around the building?!!
Also, the fascinating and cultured neighbors add so much charm to the place, as they're always cooking delicious meals and enjoying the leisure DC has to offer. Don't be afraid to chat with them :)
Once you open the lockbox, you'll enter the first 2 doors, walk up the stairs, and open the door to your left with the remaining key.
If you have a car, make sure that it has a permit to park in zone 2 or 6 to park on the street. Unfortunately, there's no designated parking, but there is usually room on the street to park. There is no designated parking - but during the middle of the day on weekdays and weekends, there's usually a spot right in front of the house available. Overnight parking is allowed without a permit, but once the permit hours begin, beware of the times. You can find out how much time you have to park on the street signs located on the street.
There's also parking lots and spaces that aren't restricted by hourly rates nearby the house. You have to just speak with the lot manager to strike a deal at times if absolutely necessary. In the end, I would recommend not using a car in DC. The metro is awesome and much more stress free.
Often, I've just double parked and put on my emergency blinkers and I never had a problem with someone asking me to move, unless I'm blocking in their car.

I am traveling and working a lot in other places, so I will often not be available to provide the keys. But there is a lockbox which I will provide access to you for key access.
I am glued to my phone as well, so you can reach me at nearly any time for questions and concerns.
Другие важные подробности
The place is simple, stylish, and cozy. Please remove your shoes to minimize noise for the neighbor below my apartment. There is a laundry room in the basement! You can access it by going to the back of the building (feel free to relax in the backyard when its nice out), and going down the stairs to the locked door; the key is in the apartment or the lockbox.
I like to keep things as light and breezy as possible! Keys are in a lockbox on the front gate so you can gain access anytime. When you enter the apartment kindly remove your shoes to minimize the noise for my downstairs neighbor.
Please do not smoke in the house and let me know if you want to bring any pets into the apartment. For the most part, it should be fine.
Be respectful and keep the noise level to a reasonable level. It is a residential area with families nearby. There are bars and clubs nearby where you can get as loud as you want, if need be :)
My house manual provides additional information for your stay; please read through once your reservation is confirmed. Cheers!
