Shashi was informed on 21st March, one day before they confirmed the booking that we had could allocate two bedrooms as the remaining bedrooms were booked by other guests. This was done as we were listed as entire apt/villa. Shashi then confirmed their booking with Airbnb on 22nd March on full understanding of the facts. On 31st March , 9 days after Shashi had confirmed the booking, advised us that they wanted the entire villa to themselves at the same cost. We advised that this was not possible as the other rooms were already booked. Shashi then decided to cancel the stay. We requested Sashi to cancel from their side. As a goodwill gesture, we offered to pay the service charges upfront before they could initiate the cancellation. We would then choose the option of full refund to Shashi. We also asked Airbnb to assist us so that Shashi did not lose any money due to this cancellation. As there was no further communication from Shashi, we cancelled this booking as suggested by Airbnb with 50 $ charges to us.
