I am sorry you were uncomfortable. You took advice from some very prejudiced people. My neighborhood is mixed, Asian, African-American, and Hispanic. Do you have problems with such people? I haven't ever had problems, and if you read my description, I think it is VERY accurate as to the types of people in the neighborhood, and the description of the room. You cannot expect cozy downtown hotel accommodations for this price point. Additionally, you stated you were allergic to dogs, when you fully knew there were dogs in the house, as my description was VERY specific as to the kinds of dogs. It is unfortunate that you didn't read my LONG and DETAILED description, and then proceeded to say it wasn't accurate. I made sure I was available for you, and was home for your check-in, yet you gave me 4 out of 5 for the check-in. I don't know what you expected. But, had you ACTUALLY read all my various descriptions you would have known exactly what you were going to experience. I have had MANY satisfied guests. Your ratings are cruel, and uncalled for, and have now impacted my business. The fact that you stayed as long as you did, shows that the place wasn't unbearable. My other house guests (African-American and Russian) are very nice gentlemen. Your room was cleaned before you arrived. The bathroom and all common areas were thoroughly swept and mopped and wiped down before you arrived. If you saw something unclean, you can speak up, or leave a note. But, your review was quite passive-aggressive. Your review was one of the worst I have ever received, and I think it was uncalled for, especially since you didn't have the common courtesy to speak to me, and point out things I could improve. If you can't be open minded about living with others, Airbnb might not be for you. It's not just about cheap accommodations, its' about living together as 'family.'
