This charming traditional Greek town house is located conveniently in the old town of Marmaris beside the castle and the bazaar and is also the Marina is located within a stone's throw from the house, hence our favourite spot to start sailing trips!
Truly Mediterranean and homely feel, simple decoration with local fabrics and handicrafts, convenient central location beside the Castle and the Bazaar and 10 minutes walking distance to Marina.
The story of the house is typical of Greek architecture. The ground floor is a lounge area with high ceilings and comes with a comfy corner couch, a television and a fireplace (not currently used) and a cellar used as an extra double bedroom. Up the stairs to get into the mezzanine with the kitchen and small dining table for 4. All amenities and utensils for cooking provided in the kitchen. A staircase leads to the first floor, which has a master bedroom, a bathroom with shower and washing machine, and a separate lounge area from where another staircase leads to the attic room with one bed, sink and a lounge area, from where you get a partial view of the Marina through the roof window.
The house can accommodate up to 5 people, however, as there is only one bathroom, it is recommended for 3 people.
Air conditioning throughout the house which can also be used as a heater.
Marmaris is super busy in the summer time (Jun-Sep). If you prefer quiet and calm, the best periods to visit are Apr-May and Oct- early Nov, when the weather is not particularly hot. During Dec-Jan, there may be days of extremely cold weather, however, chances are quite slim. Please note that there is AC heating in the house, which is sufficient to warm up the place even when the weather is extremely cold.
The whole house and amenities provided.
