I booked the 'Lux apartment in Belgrade' for 5 people (a group of friends) and 2 nights. Arriving by car the location is easily reachable from the highway. The streets around are small therefore parking in front of the apartment is very difficult. I anticipated to our host via sms our arrival time and he was punctual to receive us. Unfortunately the apartment he took us was not the one advertised on the Airbnb page, not a single picture was corresponding and no evidence of the jacuzzi and sauna advertised there (and which actually drove our decision to book this place). We eventually found out that our host was offering us a different property, an apartment for 4 people. We immediately complained with our host and requested the apartment we booked. He mentioned that apartment was not available, being under reconstruction (hence the question: why it was advertised on the internet???) and he was willing to offer us another option. He took 2 of us to take the keys of a different apartment (crossing the city in the traffic took almost 1 hour) and then he showed us an apartment with one queen size bedroom and a big sofa where 3 of us could sleep. He offered us the option to keep the 2 apartments (the original one and this second) at the same price we already paid or to all fit in this second option (with 3 people on the sofa) and get some money back. We went for this latter, with major disappointment though for the missing jacuzzi and sauna, which were advertised in the offer we purchased. The apartment was ok, in walking distance from the Saint Sava cathedral. The city center is far and should be reached with a long walk or by taxi. We left after 2 nights, on Sunday morning around 9am, in order to continue our trip. The day before I informed our host of our plans via sms. Since he did not show up to get the apartment keys I left him an sms with our intention to close the apartment and leave the keys in the mailbox. In the afternoon he later replied he was ok with that. Definitely we paid less than we originally planned but we didn't get what we booked for.
