A lovely self contained, fully equipped one bedroom chalet, set apart from the main house. The Cowshed enjoys the benefits of a rural setting on a small holding with stunning valley views, five minutes from the bustling cathedral town of Truro. Ideally situated for a Cornish stay, we are within easy driving distance of most of the major beaches and tourist attractions. Ideal for families, we welcome you to our beautiful home and wish you a pleasant stay in Cornwall!
The Cowshed has been decorated again in 2017 after being fully renovated and refurbished in 2015 to be a functional, bright and comfortable space. Set aside from the main house, this gorgeous, one bedroom chalet has everything you will need for your stay; a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom leading into an open plan lounge and separate bedroom. The bedroom has a double bed and separate 'day bed' which can be used as a further king-sized bed or two singles. The space is perfect for singles, couples or families, having the luxury of a separate living space and a private bathroom. The Cowshed offers guests privacy and comfort at our family home.
Guests will have ample parking and access to the small holding, including an apple orchard, chickens and ducks, a polytunnel and 2 1/2 acres of land. The Cowshed is set in rural surrounds (not a house in sight), looking over a stunning valley, but benefits from being just 5 minutes from the city of Truro and 10 minutes from the beaches of Porthtowan, St Agnes and 20 minutes from Falmouth. Other key sights within an easy drive include St Ives, Trelissick Gardens, The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Общение с гостями
Guests can come and go as they please; please note that we may not be on site at all times, so access to our services is not 24 hours (especially as we have small children!) However, if we are around, we are more than happy to help if we can. If needed, we can supply beach towels, recommend trips or excursions and great local places to eat and drink.
Другие важные подробности
We would invite guests to get stuck in with the chickens and help themselves to apples when in season!
If you need to borrow a highchair, changing table, toys, extra bedding or travel cot, please let me know ahead of time and we can arrange for this to be left in the Cowshed for you. Please provide your own bedding for the travel cot as required.
Please treat our home as you would your own; leave it clean and tidy and you can come again!
Please keep noise after midnight down as we have young children - we will do the same!
Well behaved dogs are allowed on discussion with us - we do have cats, ducks and chickens who prefer the peaceful life.
No smoking inside the Cowshed at any time please and any cigarette butts should be disposed of safely and thoroughly.
Once again, please note that we are not always on site and so not on call 24 hours a day; if we are available to help, we will do everything we can to accommodate any extra requirements and will leave contact details in case of emergencies.
