Interaction depends on my schedule. I'm hoping to be available to offer shuttle to guests who want to hike closeby trails to do end-to-end hikes (Horseshoe, Appalachian and Conestoga Trails). Middle Creek offers loop so no shuttle necessary. I want guest to be able to have privacy if they desire. Always happy to provide suggestions for this great area.
No smoking. No pets. Slippers/socks for indoor footwear use. Park in driveway and entry to house via front door only.

I consider myself a traveler rather than a tourist in that I want to learn about the area and the people of that area. Some of my favorite places have been Utah and all their wonderful Red Rock Canyonland area, Newfoundland, the mountains of the Adirondacks and the Whites in New Hampshire. My first real adventure was a 30 day US cross country trip and my bucket list seems to get bigger rather than smaller. I love Lancaster County for all its heritage, quaint communities, strong work ethic, and sense of honesty. I am definitely a coffee aficionado and a goal I have is to compose a book of the best coffee shots for travelers. I do much socializing while sharing coffee. My hiking boots are one of my prized possessions. I prefer non-fiction, and love to read memoirs. Some of my favorite artists are Maxfield Parrish, Jonathan Green, John Singer Sargent, and a rather long list. As a host, my goal is to be able to provide what the guests want and to feel free to say that....if they want quiet time alone I hope to be able to recognize that. I am always pleased to provide recreation/cultural recommendations in my area.
