Not happy with my experience here. The pictures on the listing must have been from long ago or photoshopped, because in reality this place is pretty run-down looking in reality. The wifi is horrendous - don't even think about using it. Data hardly worked as this place was so far removed from anything. No taxi driver will be able to find this riad. That's why they have their own personal taxi who will take you anywhere for 60 dh for each ride. You will never find this place if you think you will remember and have another taxi take you. The room was extremely small. We had a double bed, and to walk around the sides of the bed, you had to walk sideways to get around. No place to open your suitcase (would have liked a table or luggage holder to open luggage). The carpet in the bedroom was beyond filthy - don't think its ever been washed. No towel rack or hook in bathroom to hang up anything. No soap in bathroom (you need to bring your own), no toiletries at all. Bathroom sink would not drain, shower also slow to drain. Initial ride from bus station to the riad cost 120dh from their driver. He was pretty rude, had headphones on the entire time, did not speak English, he took off ahead of us with my wheeled suitcase which he broke on the cobblestone streets - I wanted to take it from him and carry it myself but he was oblivious when I kept calling him, as he was running ahead and couldn't hear me. I had heard that this riad El Jadine was not being kept up to standards, as it was recently sold to a new owner, and the previous owner was well aware that the wifi did not work, but has chosen not to do anything to fix it. When I messaged Michele, he said he was unaware of the wifi issue - which clearly has been an issue if you read the reviews, but no one has done anything about it. As far as the breakfast, completely disgusted. Everything I picked up to eat had hairs in the items! Human and cat hair. I have pictures, I lost my appetite and decided to pass on eating the moroccan pancakes/bread, etc. Anyways, the location of this riad is so remote and hard to find, on top of the other issues, I would look for somewhere else to stay.
