It was built in the late 19th century and has gone through a total renovation in 2004. The interior decoration is very appealing, and it combines rustic/country style furniture with oriental elements, preserving the charm of the old and traditional.


Located in Santana, 38km south of Lisbon, just 3km away from the ancient fishing village of Sesimbra, with its 13th century castle, known for all its beautiful beaches, narrow winding streets, fine restaurants, bars and night life. It's also close to Cape Espichel and its sanctuary (15km) where you can enjoy a spectacular ocean view, or to Aldeia do Meco (12km) with its fabulous beaches, or to Lagoa de Albufeira where you can have surf lessons, or to Azeitão (12km)an old town known for its cheese, wine route and 17th-18th century mansions, or to Portinho da Arrabida (20km) on the natural reserve of the Arrabida Mountains, which is one of the most beautiful places of Portugal, or to Setubal (25km) one of the major Portuguese cities. From here you can get to anywhere in the Costa Azul (Blue Coast) cause everything is so close. Hope you have a pleasant stay!
You have a supermarket on the village at walking distance, a fishing and vegetable market, shopping and very good restaurants.

This is a non smoking property. All Doors must be left locked during day, if guests are away or at night. It is forbidden to drag any furniture or beds. Some drawers may be locked and not accessible to guests.
Bathrooms - it's forbidden to throw anything in the toilet except toilet paper.
PETS are permitted in rental units only with prior approval and pay a 50€ fee per stay.
POOL – The pool is not fenced so we advise you to be extra careful with children under 6 years old or people who don’t know how to swim.
SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT - A security/damage deposit of €500 is required. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable upon guest’s departure or, in alternative, within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.
Weekly cleaning, pool and garden maintenance included in the price.
Extra cleaning to be paid by guests if requested.
Groups with less than 30 year old not allowed.
Changeover date - Saturday. Other days possible except in July and August.
House heating between October and May not included in the rental fee and upon request.
House capacity - 10 adults, except for children under 5.
Special prices for 4 adults.

Lo pasamos muy bien. La casa es muy espaciosa y está llena de detalles y de historia. El jardín es muy agradable y la piscina está también muy bien. La Cocina tiene de todo. Como punto débil, el acceso en coche , la puerta es pequeña y la calle muy transitada. Hay que hacerlo con mucho cuidado! Al estar en la intersección de dos carreteras, hay ruido de tránsito, pero no resulta molesto en la noche para dormir y durante el día es perfectamente asumible.

Flott rustikt hus sentralt i Santana, nær Sesimbra. Det er en del støy fra trafikken, i og med at huset ligger tett ved hovedveien ned mot Sesimbra. Skjermet og fin hage med flott bassengområde. Verten fulgte oss opp underveis og var opptatt at vi hadde det bra i huset.
