I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and moved to New Jersey about 27 years ago.
Raised two children who are grown and on their own. Now I'm an author ( a just finished mystery/thriller), a retired Key Grip in the film business (I do a little more writing and teaching about that) and married to a Film Producer who commutes to work in New York City each day.
When not writing, cooking, vegetable gardening, canning, walking Oliver, our Cairn terrier, prepping for a class I may guest at, I'm usually fixing up our 200+ year old house.
Our pets, Oliver the Cairn Terrier and Milo the short-hair cat are never in the studio apartment that we host in.
We are pretty low key people, like good food, indie music and visuals. We don't get out as much as we'd like but, are okay with a dinner in, some wine and a cable show.
Gretchen and I have both traveled a lot, both for business (film shoots, festivals etc.) and pleasure like Tulum. And Big Sur was one of our favorites and we want to get back there.
