I am a Canadian travel dialysis nurse, who has been to Saudi Arabia, Hawaii, British Columbia, all across the US and have been blessed to have SANA.
When I was in Yemen and stayed in Sanaa, (Arabic name meaning brilliant, radiance). I thought what a nice name, and that it could one day stand for Sharon Ann Nickerson and Associates, which now it does.
SANA also means healthy in Spanish. El Jardin Secreto (the Secret Garden) from the book, where an abandoned garden is transformed into a thing of natural beauty. SANA was a barren piece of property in 1993. The owners dismantled their wooden house and took it with them when they sold. The property has been transformed into the garden it is today, with love and patience and lots of trial and error. SANA has had the privilege to host physically and mentally challenged individuals as well as missionary groups while they are completing the charitable missions in our area. Youth in transit while backpacking or on lay over into and out of Haiti. Birthday parties and family reunions.!
The SANA Crew consists of Erick Rodriguez our manager, Frank our English/Spanish speaking driver and tour guide, and Noami our housekeeper and cook and of course, Jose our "greem tumbed" gardener. SANA is cooperative, the Crew is there for you, and work directly for you.
Tono is our house sitter and lives on the gated property at the back of the house.
Oh yes, and Amber and Amberita and Ambi, our friendly dogs are part of our crew as well.
Our motto: We are here to make you feel at home. My motto: Think Good Thoughts, They Become YOU.
