My apartment is right in the city centre, in the historic part of Dublin-Templebar. Stylish spacious apartment full of art and antiques I have collected from my travels-it has real character. Perfect location to explore Dublin from on foot.
I'm from Kerry in the South West of Ireland. I have lived and worked in Dublin for nearly 9 years. I love living right in the city centre-everything I could need is on my doorstep. I'm surrounded by really excellent cafés (queen of tarts, brother Hubbard, the Fumbally) and my favourite bookshop, the Gutterbookshop is just around the corner. I buy my groceries and wine in Fallon and Byrne and my favourite restaurant, a cosy little Italian, Il Vicoletto is just a few minutes walk away. My local park is behind Dublin Castle, beside the Chester Beatty Library (my number 1 recommendation for tourists and Irish people alike). I go running in Phoenix Park (the largest city park in the world)- the park is 2km along the river Liffey from the apartment.
I love travelling and exploring new places. I discovered airbnb quite late in the game and just recently had my first airbnb experience staying in a beautiful apartment in Copenhagen. It made me think that I could help fund my travel bug by putting my apartment on airbnb while I travel to other countries using airbnb.
I love my apartment and all my treasures that I have brought back from my travels around the world. The antiques fairs in Paris are one of my favourite places to treasure hunt. I'm going to treat someone else's home as if it's my own and I would hope that my airbnb guests treat my home like they would their own.
