I am offering a room in a mixed four-bedroom apartment shared with three other people. If you like comfy huge modern beds combined with 60s feel in a 4-meter tall, 30sh square meter room, look no further! The room is fully furnished, with fast and reliable Wi-Fi. The flat is situated minutes from the main square and this 19th-century Austro-Hungarian building brings past to life.
Strict Zagreb Center - Antique, high-ceiling apartment with oak parquets and huge windows which provide a lot of sun without making the flat hot. Furniture is a combination from the swinging 60s and modern furniture necessary to be productive and comfortable at the same time. Beds are comfy and new. We have fast wifi, microwave, oven, all utensils that come in handy. Please do not expect luxury or IKEA-furnished apartment. It is a combination of 60's furniture, a kitchen with red cupboards and an old-fashioned but fully functional, adjusted and heated bathroom with a washer.
WIFI, storage room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, lovely wine bar in the backyard :)

Gas bill is divided among occupants during the heating season and according to room size.
In abundance of false advertising on this site in terms of "quality of service" people think the offer bona fide, I can safely say as a globetrotter and MBA grad that the path to a pleasurable experience in an unfamiliar surroundings has to do with the vibe, the people you live with, not how modern your curtains look. I seek to host those who (and those usually turnout to be frequent travelers and art students:) appreciate accommodation which has soul, energy, spaciousness, feeling of freedom without resembling an IKEA catalogue. Needless to say, my rooms meet the living standards and I am kind of a legalist-freak in that way. However, with minor modern adjustments I managed to preserve that soul of the flat that has been in my family for a long time, keeping some of my grandmother's 60s furniture and embellishments combined with modern furniture necessary to work, sleep etc. The building is a 19th century protected site and an Austro Hungarian legacy - I am happy I can give you the opportunity to feel like you are in a different, slower, relaxed time.
Please read this in order to have a satisfactory stay at my humble place :)
First and foremost, we must be respectful of our fellow tenants. This means no loud music or guests after 10 pm unless others say it is okay. Friends in flat are okay during day time.
Please respect the no-shoe policy in the apartment.
Try to keep common rooms tidy (kitchen, bathroom, toilet, hallway) in a manner that it doesn't need cleaning after you. Wash and put away dishes immediately after you have eaten. Do not leave crumbs on the floor, counter or table. "Unapetitlich" and a heaven for ants.
You can smoke in your rooms because they are spacious, but please keep the window open. While at the subject, do not leave windows open when you leave the house because of sudden storms which usually smash the windows.
Wipe floor after showering and bear in mind that you are not the only one using the bathroom, time-wise and otherwise :)
Work between yourselves the costs and procurement of washing liquid and toilet paper, kitchen towels etc.
Do not suffocate wifi with constant torrenting and streaming, others are using it too. Try to download at night until the morning.
The trash container is in the backyard, right of the entrance and then left.
Do not forget to take the keys when you leave the flat, otherwise you will not be able to come in.
Be amicable to your fellow roommates in order to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. If there is a problem, try to work it out between yourselves and I will mediate in unsolvable situations.
Congratulstions and a massivethnaks if you've made so far. My last request would to respect the birthplace of my father and take care of the rooms, respecting the place as it was yours :)
And lastly, please respect and take care of my family legacy, it will return double the love you invested :)
Thanks for reading this, I think we are going to get along!

Thousands of people are trying to make ends meet by renting real vacation homes on Airbnb, not designed for long-term rentals. I offer the birthplace of my past family generations with loads of warmth and soul, just as Airbnb intended. This is visible in countless details preserving memories around the flat.
