Originally the Stables for Nethergrove House, Stables Cottage sits atop the Devon ridgeway overlooking the Taw Valley toward the Exmoor hills. The barn has two identical double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. This listing is for the Tarka room.
Guests stay in the beautifully converted attached barn in real peace and comfort. There are just two double bedrooms and the barn is for their exclusive use.
Our guests have exclusive access to the converted barn as well as a secluded courtyard and the cobbled yard. You are welcome to walk the grounds of Nethergrove House.
There is free Wi-Fi, TV/DVD, tea & coffee, homemade biscuits, a fridge, games, dvd library and home cinema all available for you to enjoy.

Breakfast is served in the barn and offers the full range of juice, fresh fruit, croissants, pancakes, cereals, eggs, and of course the full English. Wherever possible Mick and Tracey use locally sourced produce and have received the top hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency. We are happy to provide evening meals with some notice.
We are afraid we are unable to allow pets.
Smoking is not permitted in the accommodation.

Mick & Tracey brought Stables Cottage in 2002 and moved down permanently from Buckinghamshire when the the call of the peace and beauty of Devon became too great to put off any longer. They love the area and want to help others enjoy it as much as they do.
