This used to be a bakehouse - now it's a colorful feel-good oasis on two floors. In the living room you even still see the old ovens. Also, there's a big courtyard with lots of plants. This place is delightfully quiet - and still centrally located.
The 84sq sized apartment is placed in the rear ("Hinterhaus"), centrally located and delightfully quiet. There's a bedroom with a double bed (1.4m) and there's a comfy double bed sofa (1.6m) in the living room.
There's a beautiful courtyard that belongs solely to the apartment and has lots of plants and even some herbs. Still: My apartment is not a hotel but quite the hippie thing. The washing machine has to be closed with a lashing strap (but then it works perfectly fine), when you take a shower you will likely set the entire bath room floor under water and you'll probably find dust on the top shelves. On the other hand you'll often find fresh flowers on the table, there are lots of awesome books you can read and movies you can watch and in the kitchen there are tons of spice, herbs and teas you can use.
(Caution: There's a stairway connecting the two levels of the apartment - should you have knee problems or something like that, unfortunately our place might not be a fit for you. )
The entire ground level of the apartment is yours. Upstairs there's a kitchen you can use and the bathroom. There's wifi. For cooking you find oil and herbs/spices. There's also different teas and at least one kind of coffee.
Общение с гостями
Of course we personally welcome our guests, show them the place and tell them about the neighborhood and Düsseldorf in total. During your stay you can always ask me anything as I live upstairs in the apartment.
Of course I expect my guests to be respectful. The usual interpersonal stuff. When you say my neigbors, please say hello and goodbye. (The people who live in my house are super nice so this shouldn't be too hard anyways.) Pets are fine if they don't destroy anything. You can't smoke inside the apartment but there's a roofed balcony as well as the courtyard. I have ashtrays.
