Общение с гостями
We make a point of welcoming all of our guests and are more than happy to impart our local knowledge based on our own experiences and those of previous guests.
We live in the main house on site so are always available for any help, but are also aware that our guests are on holiday and want their own space. Wherever possible we also try to undertake ground maintenance and day to day jobs when our guests are out.

Having just around an acre of land there is also an option to pitch a tent, and let the children "camp in the garden" and really enjoy the great outdoors whilst you stay.
We believe our guests should enjoy their holiday in the way they want. We are proud of what we have achieved with Springfield and all that we ask is that our guests respect and enjoy the cottage, countryside and surrounding beaches.
We are more than happy for our guests to bring along a small breed of dog as long as it is not left unsupervised in the garden (or alone in the cottage) any "business" is cleared up, bagged and binned and that they are kept under control around the livestock.
On departure please empty the bins and recycle, we don't expect guests to clean through, but would be grateful if any spills were wiped up in the oven, on the hob or in the microwave and that the cottage was left generally clean.
For the benefit of other guests we have a strict non smoking policy and during the summer months our guests need to be aware that hay in the field behind can be very dry so not dispose of cigarette ends over the hedge.
We expect guests to recycle as much as possible so provide facilities for glass, packaging, plastic and have a wormery for composting kitchen kitchen waste.
Although not Eco-Warriors we do ask that you consider the environment with the use of electricity and switch off lights when not in use, this not a rule just a suggestion.
Our garden and plot sits behind the cottage garden and well defined boundaries, so do ask that you do not walk your dog around there.

We are Chris, Alison, Harriet & Lola, we bought Springfield in June 2014, a traditional Pembrokeshire farm house with original slate buildings and a holiday cottage converted from the stables back in the 70's, all of which are set in approximately an acre.
Although in need of a "little" love and care and seriously overgrown, we saw through the dereliction and fell in love with the property and lifestyle it offered us and know are keen to share both it and Pembrokeshire.
We have fully refurbished the holiday cottage in a contemporary style and set out to offer our guests the experience that we expect and tried to provide everything they need for a relaxing holiday, whether it be visiting the variety of landscapes Pembrokeshire has to offer or just curling up in front of the wood burner.
By no means Eco-Warriors we are conscious of our environment and try where ever possible to adopt green practices, we plan on installing a poly tunnel to grow our own produce and have already built a three stage compost plant. We enjoy up cycling and have tried to use salvaged materials on the land and anything we can't use ourselves we "free cycle".
With the lack of light pollution and the clear air the night sky's never cease to amaze us with the brightness of the stars from our own little oasis, or the wildlife in our garden from buzzards to woodpeckers.
