Extremely spacious, comfortable and clean private downstairs apartment with one bedroom, a beautiful bath and almost full kitchen. An excellent place to launch your daily adventures in the North Portland area and beyond; we are great for visiting family and friends in St. Johns and University of Portland neighborhoods.
Wonderful, clean, comfortable and spacious 900 square foot downstairs apartment with large bedroom in a pleasant setting. Air conditioning is available. There is an almost full kitchen (no stove), electric kettle, small fridge, microwave & toaster oven. We have found that it is best for a couple, or if you need two beds, there is a very comfortable futon in an alcove off of the living room. You will hear some noise from us upstairs, although we try to be as quiet as possible.
Good restaurants, coffee shops and excellent grocery stores nearby.
Guests have private access, easy on-street parking. Wi-Fi and very basic cable tv. Shared use of washer & dryer, outside gas and charcoal grills.

We are usually available, but you have a private entrance so we don't see you too often - we know that you are here to see Portland and Oregon, not us! In the summer we have lots of grilling sessions and evening fires for socializing by. You will meet our dog, Izzy outside occasionally- but she generally leaves you alone!

Steve moved with his wife to Portland in 2004 from Alaska, where they had lived for about 30 years. He loves the endless outdoor activities available in the surrounding areas as well as being closer to his family in Oregon. He and his wife love to host people in their own AirBnB and welcome the opportunity to share ideas on how to enjoy the area with others.
