The host (Chichaya and her brother) was there to receive me upon arrival to let me in. Both were cordial, but seemed to be in a hurry. The host asked me to sign a lease agreement, and did not stay long after the agreement was signed. I had to exchange several phone calls with the host to find out how to operate the appliance as there was no explanation given upon arrival or no written instructions in the apartment. I had several problems in the beginning (TV did not work properly, warm water did not come in one of the bathrooms, etc.). But the problems were fixed efficiently by the maintenance team of the Apartment Building. With the exception of one day-time attendant, English of the apartment staff is very limited. But all are very friendly. English channels on the TV was very limited - several movie channels but no CNN or BBC. I was told to pay an extra of TB2,000 to get CNN, which was a bit disappointing. The location of the apartment is very good with a busy neighborhoods - close to a big department store, many restaurants and a train station. The apartment is nice and the price is reasonable. Overall, it was a good experience.
