Об этом жилье
Comfortable and private bedroom on separate lower level of house right in downtown Steamboat on Soda Creek! Great restaurants, bars, live music, shops, and the FREE bus stop are literally steps from the door. Brand new nice memory foam bed! Private lounge area with refrigerator and deck chairs on creek!
Homey, comfortable house with nice amenities and a friendly atmosphere, mere steps from the main block downtown.
The space fits two people comfortably in a private bedroom with a queen size memory foam pillow-top mattress. Lounge area/2nd Bedroom on same level with HDTV w/Apple TV and Netflix and mini-fridge (stocked with local beer!) all to yourself! Right on the creek with your very own patio and sunchairs!
The lower level of the house consists of a bedroom, bathroom and a lounge area with attached private patio with the creek flowing right outside. The kitchen, laundry, dining area, living room, and patios are all also available to guests, just the top floor is private space where me and my wife Anna (from Paraguay) live. I only ask that guests treat everything with respect. I think it is a great place to enjoy life here!
Общение с гостями
This is entirely up to the guests. I enjoy meeting people and making new friends, it is a top reason I host on AirBnB. However, I am fairly busy these days, so don't mind at all if guests just want some peace and quiet. Entirely up to you, zero interaction is fine or we could maybe end up at happy hour together or share cooking a meal! I live in the upstairs bedroom of the house, and this is my everyday home, but most of the time I am out working or enjoying our slice of paradise!

This space is also "Colorado Law Friendly" and respects the new legalities found in our state. However, you will not see or smell anything "freshly-legal" that you do not bring personally. So do not worry either way! No smoking inside, however. Thank you. :)
-Guests are welcome to coffee/tea in the morning! I have coffee, cream, and sugar, as well as assorted teas. Spices, salt, pepper, and oil are available for cooking no problem!
- I do ask that guests respect noise levels within the house. I do share one wall with one quiet neighbor. I ask that guests do not play music loud, or do anything else to disturb anyone in the area.
-This is a pretty mellow, relaxed environment. Friends may be around for dinner, drinks, or to hangout but more likely than not, I will be working (either from home or around town) or enjoying our beautiful paradise outside!
-There is a no smoking policy inside. However, please enjoy whatever you wish outside on the patio!
-Please just respect the place and everything and everyone within. Above all, enjoy our amazing mountain community!
Hello I'm John. I am originally from Steamboat, moved away for college and work for almost 8 years and now I am back! The curse of the Yampa Valley is real! (That anyone who comes here, will return) I have been loving my relocation. Traded the hustle and bustle of the Front Range for fresh air outdoors in the mountains! My wife Anna who is from Paraguay also lives here, as well as our awesome dog Cactus! Nicest dog ever, everyone loves this guy!
We are easy going, love to meet new people and make new friends. We love to cook (everything!) and try to enjoy as healthy, active, and natural a lifestyle as possible. We live for our time outdoors, and try to get out everyday!
We like to make people feel comfortable in our home. We hope you enjoy my space as much as your own when you stay with us!
I love to travel. I spent about 4 months in 2013 traveling in Europe through France, Spain, Italy, and Greece. I worked on some organic farms through WWOOFing in Spain and Italy, but mostly just stayed with friends, in hostels, hotels, and AirBnB's of course! I ended up loving the AirBnB style of traveling. I found that it was great to instantly have a contact in the city, get great advice, and have a lot of fun with hosts! I still stay in contact with some of the hosts I met. I think it really adds a whole new aspect to traveling when you stay with locals and I have amazing memories because of it.
I have also traveled to Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Grenada, as well as Northern Ireland and England. Last summer, we also took a trip to Paraguay and Brazil! South America is incredible in so many ways, beautiful people and countries.
My motto in life is to be positive, even through the negative. Take time to appreciate what you have and where you are at every moment. Be thankful for everything and everyone in your life!
