Restored craftsman home has a wonderful feel. Will house a large family or two small families. It is walking distance to downtown and other amenities. It has a gourmet kitchen and super fun outdoor kitchen. Plenty of kid toys.

We have two tenants who live on the property who have no back yard privileges. One tenant lives in the front section of the house and thus there is one shared wall with the two kids bedrooms. She is very quiet. The other tenant lives above the garage (located in rear of property) and typically accesses his place using the alley in the rear of the property. Both tenants are very nice and understanding. I highly doubt you'll run into either of them. Days and sometimes weeks go by without seeing them.

The city of Santa Cruz requires that all Airbnb hosts collect an 11% Transient Occupancy Tax (same as hotels). Unfortunately, at this time Airbnb does not automatically collect this tax at the time of booking. Therefore we give guest two options of how to pay it. 1.) I can send guest a "special offer" (Airbnb terminology) at the time of booking which will include the fee or 2.) guest can leave a check made payable to The City of Santa Cruz Finance Dept. The tax is 11% of your total room charge. I apologize for the inconvenience and I look forward to the day that Airbnb collects this automatically.
We expect our guest to be cordial, quiet, & respectful. There are two tenants who live on the property (who you most likely won't see) and thier rights need to be kept in mind. Nontheless, they are understanding and are not prudes. We have 3 young loud kids so they are used to some noise.
