Другие важные подробности
We have a LCD TV with DVD player, but not Blu-ray. It receives over the air Phoenix channels (airwave channels). The TV is in living room.
The kitchen is stocked with: dishes and flatware (setting for four), some pots, pans and cooking utensils. There is also a microwave, 5-cup coffeepot, toaster, electric kettle for boiling water and a slow cooker. The refrigerator (new), stove, and dishwasher (new) are full size.
There are two sets of sheets and towels for guests staying longer than a week; there are also blankets.
A final note: Our home is a "resolana." The word derives from resol (the reflection of the sun). In Northern New Mexico villagers gather in the resolana for warmth and protection from the elements. A resolana is both a place and a process – a space for tranquility and discussion.
No pets, no children under sixteen (we love children but too many distractions), no smoking inside, obey pool rules and adults must be present with children. We have a relaxed atmosphere.

My husband Miguel and I are both retired professors. We have two married daughters and four grandchildren. We like to entertain, cook, and have done a great deal of traveling --Israel, Egypt, Cuba, South America, Europe. This is our first experience as hosts. Our place is a "resolana." In Northern New Mexican villagers gather in the resolana for warmth and protection from the elements. It is both a place and a process – a space where serious discussion surrounding significant subject matter is encouraged by the community. Our "resolana" is a quiet and restful place.
