The flat is extremely spacious, as shown in the pictures, with a breathtaking garden. Centrally located, within walking distance to trains and buses in a quiet, leafy neighbourhood. Two very large bedrooms, and two baths - one bath (in which it is difficult to shower - can only be used for baths) and one shower room/bathroom. As mentioned in other reviews, it is quite basic in terms of provisions and less well appointed than a service apartment. We arrived on a bank holiday weekend and the laundry was not ready after the previous guest so we didn't have enough sheets, towels and other basics. David and Karin were available and responsive but it took several days to receive it all, and we ended up bringing our own bedding and towels. There were not enough plates or drinking cups, and though the hosts provided plates promptly enough, it would have been nice to have the basics on arrival. It felt more like a borrowed flat, with bits and bobs in it rather than a rental.

David's place is a superb flat in a great neighbourhood. I love most the large rooms and its high ceilings. It's a shame it was winter and we couldn't make good use of the lovely garden. I highly recommend this flat.

David was very friendly and helpful. A charming house with large rooms and beautiful private garden. Good public transportation in the area. Really it is a house to recommend.

David and Karin were good hosts and were very helpful in meeting our needs over the course of the trip. The flat is stunning, huge space with a beautiful garden complete with local wildlife and the location is great, equally placed between Finchley Road and Hampstead. This is a rental flat rather than their home, and the furniture as a result is more serviceable than homely but you would be hard pressed to find a better option in the area for your stay.
